FUCKING HELL FINALS ARE OVER OH MY GODDDDDD💥 Bros I know I disappeared for a whole semester again, but y’all gotta hear me out I was suffering😵‍💫 Long story short, I’m in some higher level courses than I should be in due to some ✨accidents by the general counselor✨ I say with gritted teeth, and had my first ever experience with a teacher I genuinely wish chose not to teach (which is so surprising considering I don’t usually hate teachers) so I was juggling shit like crazy. I’ll explain more in the lil life update section but hey point is, I didn’t abandon MFIP in my head🦐✨✨✨

This update is definitely gonna be a shorter one since my ass doesn’t really have much to update on, but I still wanted to give y’all a progress check as the summer starts! I’m so excited to be writing more again because MAN I’VE BEEN TWEAKING I MISS MY BABYGIRL SALENAAAA—

I can’t begin to describe how genuinely nice it felt to actually see this long ass chapter done and out, especially cuz it solidifies that we are indeed in the last stretch of Arc One. It’s such an exciting thing for me since I’ve been planning these last few chapters since the very beginning of this arc, and shaking violently tryna wait for everything I was setting up to FINALLY PAY OFF!

Now with Chapter 10 being done,

I have made a good chunk of progress with chapter 11~

I was actually working on it deadass right after chapter 10 out of pure excitement and impatience—

I’d say it’s probably at the halfway mark right now; I worked on it over winter break and a little bit here and there during the first few months of the semester when I was more free. I didn’t get a chance to even look at it afterwards but like that’s fine, it’s better than nothing 🦐👍

I’m not sure how long it’s gonna take for me to finish it though since I really need to regain my energy first after this crazy semester. I’d like to say it’s not as long as the last few chapters have been, but I’ve learned my lesson from saying that ever again so yk we’ll find out when it’s finished💀✨

I also have the Extra chapter already done for Eleven

So thankfully that’s at least completely finished— It just needs to be edited, but I don’t wanna give it to my team until we’re a little closer to Eleven being done. It’s a really interesting little chapter imo but I won’t say too much right now.

That’s honestly all I got done between this and the last update. Like I said, life got a little…..

As per usual, time for a tiny little life update because why not~

Dudes when I tell you, worst semester yet. Like if I thought last semester sucked, this one WAS SO MUCH WORSE. My schedule got messed up by the general counselor and the only way to get me on track was to give me much harder courses for this semester. It genuinely sucked asscheeks and I couldn’t do anything this entire time. I was kinda losing my mind tbh, I barely drew or wrote or did any of my hobbies. Academic burnout definitely hit me too but at least I got over it🍤💥

I really wish I could work more and work faster honestly, but yk I have other priorities and a dream career I’m chasing after. I’m really trying to figure out my footing right now with time and energy management, so it’s everything’s a little rocky.

I have faith it’s gonna get better, though!

I’m learning more about myself every day; more about how I learn, how I process, my motivations, my capabilities. All of that info is letting me slowly but surely find better ways to learn and study so I can allow myself the time I need to pursue my more creative side.

Thankfully now, summer’s finally arrived and I can take a little break from figuring all that out! I’m gonna be going out more and experiencing life this time since my favorite person in the whole wide world moved in with me, and I wanna create some memories with them. But, I’ll also finally get to work on MFIP more and hopefully get at least two more chapters out by the end of this break!

Mini Announcement: I’m Starting a New Project!😋✨💥

I know that sounds super ambitious given what I just said about being overcrowded sometimes, but hear me out y’all-

I really do have the passion for another fanfic I wanna work on so imma do it and see what happens. Not many spoilers for now since everything is so early in development, but it’s related to Stranger Things because I watched that show recently and I had… opinions💀 Not many of which were positive💀💀💀

I’ll give more info on it later when things are a little more settled. I’ll be dedicating I think at least three posts announcing and talking about it properly because there’s so much to say. It’s still gonna be my second priority project though, MFIP stays my first :3

Not much this time but I wanted to give a quick update just so y’all know where I’m at regarding MFIP. Oh boy things are so much more packed than I anticipated but we stay silly! Also wanted to say a quick sorry that I took so long with this update that it’s coming out in June instead of May, and a quick Eid Mubarak for my fellow Muslims~!

how i (personally) play dynaball and win more or less live to the end

this is very long sowwy óωò

i have to make it very clear. that this isn't a tutorial and these are probably not the best plays you can do, ever. this is just how *I* play and what *I* noticed while playing. more like advice i guess. you can do whatever you want forever and win too. ok? remember this please before you try to kill me <3 also i play more passively overall AND THEN I CLUTCH THE END OF THE GAME THAT'S RIGHT WOOOOOOO. i stay shifted most of the time and i'm often in f5

I think of dynaball as more of a strategy game than anything else, with where you stand, where you move to, how you use items etcetera. having good aim is good but dynaball aim is a bit strange so practice is the best way to get better at it. and awareness is so so so important. basically the whole game is awareness based. don't get too caught up in trying to aim that you forget to check around you and get voided

🟢start of the game- GLHF. don't stand in the front of the map and get stuck immediately thankz(i try to stand in the back in general -> harder to aim if farther away) in most maps i can hide behind blocks to avoid this, so that's what i do (i can share my spots in another post if anyone is interested lol) try to grab blocks from the first tnts but everyone will do this so you will get targeted too. getting levi-ed up by sparkly blocks right at the start kind of sucks bc you get no blocks from the explosion and you can't do anything for like 10 full seconds. plus there isn't any blocks to levi up to and you just fall back where you started

⭕mid game- i do 2 things: look where crate lands and get them (if it's safe) and stay more or less hidden or anyway not much movement = less targeted. it's easier to notice those 6 pixels moving across the map than those 6 pixels not moving (my theory)

✅peace time- watch out for tnts shot late that'll get you in peace time. then build and get crates. right as peace time ends players all come out and try to shoot anything that moves with the crates they got on the break. i usually hide right before peace time ends so i don't get targeted and after a few seconds that everyone shoots their shot, i shoot mines. less risk of getting stuck. you can also stuck people that are aiming in this short time

🕺standing- if you're on a raised platform try to stand on the side that has ground below it. in general, always try to stand on something that has ground below it for when you fall

BUT ALSO! if you stand on the platform with nothing below/attached to it(like a pillar) it'll be harder to aim and hit. like this

The sides can be easily destroyed if you stand there bc there are blocks below to aim at but in the center there's nothing to hit other than the platform itself and most tnts aiming at you there will miss (depending on opponents lol) ideally there will be still some ground way below you so if you get hit it's not tragedy

Speaking of platforms/safe spaces and standing. try to not bunch up all together or you'll all be easy targets. when there's a big enough platform that you can space out enough you can use that, but if a solo player built a 9x9 and you don't have blocks to expand, do not go there too, or the next tnt will be sent in your direction for a nice double kill. short version: don't stand close to each other and try to spread out over the map to reduce targeting and risk of getting stuck👍

🧨shooting tnt- general idea is to shoot at the people on the bottom(spawners and powder bomb too) and use items for those at the top (tnt drops, airstrike, line charges, powder bomb and cannon if you can aim) for easier aim and more damage reason. if you're very low and the top platform is very high up it becomes almost impossible to hit your tnt shots. usually the players on the lower side have more surface -> more places for crates to land, good idea to try and kill them first, plus they're closer to the void and don't have anything to clutch on if they fall. try to stick players that are aiming themselves as they're probably standing still for a few seconds. on pillars and sky bases trying to aim at the head can be a bad idea as they can easily move out of the way, often it's just better to aim for the blocks they're standing on

If you're standing on a single block pillar and they're trying to shoot at your head you can often dodge it by shifting to the opposite side of the block (stay shifted to A side when you're getting targeted and watch who's shooting you to dodge it)

Got stuck? surely by this point you're aware of what's around you :) run away from other people if possible, keep moving after the first explosion and after the second. now that it's over you can pick up blocks and/or get to a safe spot

You got stuck while pillaring up? look down at where you are. most of the time a single stuck won't kill you. after the first explosion keep pillaring and do the same after the second. your pillar progress will prob be reset but you're not dead!

🌉bridging/pillaring- 🚨🚨🚨i am Not good at bridging. i can't speed bridge, of any kind. remember this while reading this part🚨🚨🚨

Unless i have like 2/3 stacks of blocks on me i don't do skybases multiple blocks thick. and i don't start pillaring up for it until i have at least around a stack and 32 blocks (number can vary based on where i'm standing (on the y axis)). i try to bridge only where there's ground below in case of a fall

Since there are line charges remember to break up your bridges, something like this is how i do it (often with bigger "holes" too, just an example :p )

When i have more blocks i expand it in this way. a good platform that's less expensive than a full one, it's safe from line charges and if a crate is falling between the lines you can place a block and grab it

Real example what my sky bridge looks like at the end of a game, after many repairs, and with the help of my teammate (ty ty) (i was on the right side they were on the left. my side is more segmented than theirs. i also had less blocks than i would have liked)(and see how we stayed on opposite side of the platform? that's what i was talking about with not bunching up :D)

I use the same principle for pillaring up. 4/5 blocks straight up then i change direction, either back and forth or in a spiral. immune to line charges and you have more ground to land on after a tnt. i stand in the middle of the 2/4 blocks while shooting to minimize the blocks fallen when hit by tnt

These are just the measures i use but you can change it up obv, you can go up ten then change direction idk. do what feels better for you

If you can do better bridging or blocks placing yay!!!! happy for you. i can't so this is just what works for me. you might have to ask someone else for advice that works for you lol :3

items! ✨🎇🎉🎆

📦overall on spawners- try to stick them in hard to reach places so they're harder to break, like on the vertical side of platforms, or above where the team is sitting. if you manage to get close enough to one you can kill the 2 mob spawns quickly and break it before the next cycle... sometimes. just keep trying until you get a slow spawn :p easier way is to have 2 people, one breaks it the other kills the mobs. for this you need a friend or a smart teammate tho. so when you see someone trying to break a spawner near you, stay close by and kill any mobs that spawn. if the spawner is placed at the front of the map it's very possible the other team will destroy it with tnt eventually, so don't go to break an isolated (or semi isolated) spawner at the front of the map, you Will get targeted

🌳creeper spawner- ideally place them on the side of a flat platform so they can walk and target people away from the spawner itself(goes for basically all spawners too) and they don't blow it up immediately. 90% of the time,, they will blow it up immediately. the easier to break as creepers wait a bit before exploding at you. another option is to just let the creeper explode and destroy the spawner themselves, only do this if you have enough ground or the explosion won't do big damage. pillar up if there isn't enough ground 😬

🦴skelly spawner- very beautiful very powerful. place above the opponents or high up anyway, since they shoot tnt, this way they HOPEFULLY don't shoot it straight back down where the spawner is (: to counter: KILL THE MOBS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. even a single skelly roaming can be disaster. i've seen so many people just run past skeletons and let them shoot Multiple tnts 😭 like are we just griefing now

🧟‍♂️zombos spawner(ew word)- multiple of these guys will throw you off the map at the first chance they get <3 they can't wait to void you <3 #insaneknockback. place on the bottom platform where the people above will fall on; or at walking distance like the creepers. to counter: good luck o7 (kill fast and break before next spawn cycle) if there are many, run or pillar up as best as you can to get away. you are not winning the 1v10

🧹powder bomb- spleef time!!! can also be used to destroy crates. not much to say about this one. idk. try not to stand at the bottom of the map on a 1 block thick platform i guess

🐔air strike- on a diagonal usually does more damage. place it anywhere and it'll work, except where it's just void. when you hear the chicken look up to see if it's coming for you. if yes: Do Not Get Stuck. Move.

🔫rocket cannot (the gun)- so fucking hard to aim omg what is that. good to knock down players high up. only shoot it when there's nothing in front of you, NOTHING. it has the hitbox of a house or smth. and explosions will curve your shot so wait for a calm time too. counter: levi. period. (if you're on a sky base and get shot once and survive you'll prob get shot again, can try running back and forth or move to a safer platform before you get shot)

🥂jump and speed pots- jump pot is really good for end game or for when you're the last one alive (you'll get targeted hard and the ability to get back up fast is essential to stay alive). i never drank a speed pot in my life. idk you can bridge with them? no idea

🥛levi- ideally only use when you're falling in the void. i play safer until i have at least one on me, after that i start doing some more risky plays (getting a crate that's exposed/in a "easy to aim at" position; bridge out over void; standing in the part of the sky base that has no ground below; ecc)

🔩line charge- after 5 games of dynaball nobody does straight single block bridges anymore.. and if they are you can kill them :D. good to stop someone from pillaring. still good for bridges. hold onto it until there's a pillar or bridge as shooting in on the full platform doesn't do much (if you think you can survive until that happens)

💥tnt drop- might be the best item right after levis. sky base? tnt drop. pillaring? tnt drop. standing on a single block that's hard to aim at? tnt drop. i try to save these for a good opportunity too, usually mid game when people start skybasing it up. a tnt drop is about to fall on you what do you do? a)move b)move c)move d)get stuck by it. you can answer d) only if you're on a pillar and there's no ground around you ❤

CLOSING ADVICE

don't steal other people's crate :3 or they will hate you :3 and they will try to blow you up intentionally :3

literally be nice. dynaball is a team game so let other people on your team get crates too #share. we're playing to have fun not to win (winning is very fun too but also we're playing to have fun!!)

Wellー when it comes to tsukune I often eat yakitori and stuff、but the tsukune at the convenience store are each about the size of a mikan orange right〜

So I was kinda worried that I wouldn't like themー But eating it today surprised me…！

The outside was crispy and the inside was fluffy and it almost made me emotional〜

I've been watching basketball matches on TV recently🏀

I don't know much about the rules but I think it's interestingー！

It makes me remember PE lessons from school〜

I remember one time when my team was about to lose I made a last ditch attempt and threw the ball like a shot put from the other side of the court to our opponent's goal

And it miraculously went in and we all went crazy〜😂
