Honestly I wish we focused on animatronics more, mostly in terms of art since for the most part there isn't much to analize. Like technically they are the main part of the series + we actually SEE them directly in action and all

Animatronics are mostly not fleshed out, but that allows for freedom in interpretation[well more so impression that then gets built out through headcanons] that feels more natural if that makes sense? You dont expect most of them to have more going on, so you just roll with whatever you come up with

Really even animatronics with more going on dont get much focus besides springtrap. And even Springtrap at this point isnt gettting that much attention I feel like-

This also goes for fnaf movie - I dont see much posts about animatronics/the kids. Even though, in my opinion, one of the pretty well executed parts of the movie is exactly them. Movie shows us that yes, those robots are possesed by kids and act like that at times when they dont want to kill you :] this especially goes for Bonnie, his moments were really memorable.

In short: I just like the animatronics and they are after all big part of the series and I wanna see more of them :[

I love how silly and ugly springbonnie was drawn in the movie. Just look at this thing its so fun to doodle

What if William Afton actually cared too much about his family. So much that this selfless want to fix his family, put them back together turned overtime into a selfish desire, that destroyed everything in its wake, even those William wanted to help in the first place. In the end it was only what he desired, he didn't ask or consider what others actually wanted, further damaging them. In his quest to save [in his eyes atleast] his family, he teared apart other families in the process. The line has been crossed long ago, he can't get in any way back what was lost. But he never gives up.

And Everyone he cared for turned away from him in the end. For good reasons that he won't see, because he has to be in the right.

Just rewatched the fnaf movie!

I had fun throughout the whole movie, but definetely even more so through the second half [up from when Abby meets the robots] :]

I remembered when they showed aunt Jane there was pool of blood around her?? I don't know if I just remembered it wrong in the rush of emotions or did it actually get changed

Vanessa! She's so fun I need more of her and I need to know more

Only now it sunk in that it seems Abby already knew ghosts themselves? The day after meeting the animatronics, she talks about them like they know eachother for some time, for example with " My friends talk about her sometimes." Which, I guess in a way explains how golden freddy kid knew where she lives but still HUH

Like, freddy kid did stray some distance from his vessel so... But still how did they meet her?

All the drawings are so goofy and I love them very much

The animatronics are so goofy and scrunkly and sweet at times :] I love eevrything about them still + PLS DSHFSDHF the way that girl from the tape called them cudlly critters

Also only on this watch I noticed that almost all the blood is cleaned up and the bodies are moved when Mike comes for his shift after jeff and the gang wreck the place

Animatronics dragging William away referencing the books BUT ALSO LISTEN At that moment there's parallel between vanessa and william,, Mike and Abby are also dragging Vanessa but towards safety, and in oppsite direction than William. The living are taking her, and saving her from death, while the dead take William to his own death

He's so smug he wants so much control even in the worst fucking situation with no escape he's still trying to belittle them and make them scared. And his lasts words threating them that they won't get rid of him, death won't stop him, he will come back.

Man the climax was so fun tho I still would love if maybe they played a little cat and mouse,,, mike and abby hiding around while william and animatronics roam, vanessa at some point appearing for confrontation with William,,, no specifics in my mind I just know this could be so fun. Either way love the climax

ALSO the segment in the style of minigames at the start and then those spelled out letters like in [I think] fnaf 2 minigame[s] really tie this together

Fnaf movie is a terrible horror. Which well, to people who had high expectations on that aspect I'm not suprised that movie was bad to them. But it is to an extent unfortunate even to me - as I enjoyed the movie deeply in spite of that, because there was potential to show a horror well of this place, its tense atmosphere and all. The movie had a chance for that, but its story and themes basically snatched away those moments

The time we could have been shown struggle for survival, panic and feeling of being trapped was instead focus on Mike's psyche and slightly on showing animatronics kid side - the dreams

On the other hand to balance those 2 aspects, a LOT woudl have to be changed. And currently I myself dont have my head fully wrapped around that!

The fort scenes and scenes of animatronics with abby present those machines still being kids well enough, the dreams sequences more so just emphathise it

So theoritically, removing those dreams sequence wouldnt really both that up. But dream sequences primaly focus is none other than Mike

The question is, how much focus would we want on Mike's struggles - on him being obsessed with the past, or if there was a different way to show it, allowing for some more chilling moments during night shifts?

Ngl its weird that EVERYWHERE, I mean cinema sites in my country etc, fnaf movie is classified as horror but then the flyer says its thriller. Like the flyer exclusively

My expectations for horror weren't high anyways but from the point of seeing the flyer fnaf movie solidified as a thriller in my mind-
