Started playing the Telltale Batman series on my new Xbox one and I feel so cool! I never got to play many video games growing up and I haven’t had my own console in years!! And I’m living alone right now in a three person dorm because I’m the last to move out for the summer, and it’s warm and pretty outside and I got some productive stuff done today. I feel relaxed and like things are getting better bit by bit. I’m not behind- for once I’m making progress. I’m reading, and I have plans to read more. I called my parents without crying today. I didn’t even feel overwhelmingly sad! I had sushi and hung out with my sister! I just feel like I know things will get harder, but for now I feel truly content and alive. I’m going to celebrate a birthday with friends who value me. I don’t remember the last time that was true. They have plans for my presents! I didn’t even expect anything, but they’re thinking about it this far out. It’s astounding to me that they care that much. And that’s not even mentioning that two of them will be driving multiple hours back to where I am to be there with me.

I’m just really really lucky, and I haven’t felt that way in a long long time.
