Unlocking the Power of Wix Forums: Your Guide to Building an Online Community in 2025
Online communities are thriving in 2025, and for website owners in the USA and UK, Wix forums offer a seamless way to connect with visitors, spark discussions, and boost engagement. Whether you’re a small business owner, a blogger, or a hobbyist, adding a Wix forum to your site can transform it into a lively hub where ideas flow freely. This guide dives into everything you need to know about Wix forums—from setup to customization—and how to leverage them effectively. Plus, we’ll explore platforms that enhance your forum experience and help you grow your audience.
Wix, known for its user-friendly website builder, includes a powerful forum app that’s perfect for fostering interaction. Curious about how to get started or why it’s worth your time? Let’s break it down with practical tips, platform insights, and a clear path to success.
Why Wix Forums Matter in 2025
In an era where engagement drives traffic, Wix forums stand out as a tool to keep visitors coming back. They’re not just discussion boards—they’re community builders. Here’s why they’re a game-changer:
Boost Engagement: Visitors who post or comment are invested in your site.
SEO Benefits: Fresh, user-generated content signals activity to Google, potentially lifting your rankings.
Community Loyalty: A space for like-minded people (e.g., gardeners sharing tips) fosters a sense of belonging.
For UK and USA users, where online interaction is a cultural staple—think Reddit’s popularity or the BBC’s comment sections—Wix forums tap into a ready audience. Whether you’re troubleshooting Velo code or debating the best luxury wallet, a forum fits any niche.
Getting Started with Wix Forums
Setting up a forum on Wix is straightforward, even if you’re new to web design. Here’s how to do it:
Add the Forum App In your Wix Editor, click “Add Apps” on the left, search for “Wix Forum,” and hit “Add to Site.” Instantly, two pages appear: the Forum Page (where posts live) and the Members Page (for community interaction).
Customize Categories From your dashboard, go to “Forum,” then “Categories.” Add topics like “General Chat” or “Tech Tips.” Customize headers with colors, images, and descriptions (max 65 characters) to reflect your brand.
Post Your First Thread Click “Create New Post” in the Forum settings. Write a welcoming message—say, “Join our Wix forums UK community!”—and pin it to the top for visibility.
Set Permissions Decide who can post: everyone, members only, or owners. Guests can read and like, members can comment, and you (the owner) can manage it all.
It’s that simple. Within minutes, your site has a buzzing forum ready to grow.
Top Tips for Running a Successful Wix Forum
1. Encourage Participation (Informational Intent)
Ask open-ended questions like “What’s your favorite Wix feature?” to spark replies. Share how-to guides—e.g., “How to use Wix forums for beginners”—to draw in curious users.
2. Customize for Appeal (Transactional Intent)
Tweak fonts, button colors, and layouts via the “Design” tab. A sleek look keeps users browsing longer—think a crisp blue banner for a UK tech forum or a bold red for a USA lifestyle one.
3. Monetize with Paid Categories (Commercial Intent)
Wix lets you lock premium content behind a paywall. Offer exclusive “Wix forum subscriptions” for tutorials or insider tips—perfect for entrepreneurs.
4. Moderate Smartly (Navigational Intent)
Pin key threads (e.g., “Wix forums login help”) and delete spam. Use the Wix mobile app to manage on the go—search “Wix app forum settings” in the App Store.
5. Leverage SEO (Informational Intent)
Sprinkle keywords like “best Wix forum tips” or “Wix forums USA guide” in posts and titles. User-generated content naturally boosts organic reach.

Why Website Design Matters: 5 Key Reasons to Invest in a Great Site
In today’s digital-first world, your website is often the first impression your business makes. Whether you’re a freelancer, small business, or global brand, your website design can determine whether a visitor stays or leaves within seconds. So, why does website design matter so much? Here are five compelling reasons:
1. First Impressions Count
Visitors form an opinion about your website in less than a second. A clean, professional design immediately builds trust. On the other hand, outdated or cluttered layouts can drive users away before they even read your content.
2. Better User Experience (UX)
Good design isn’t just about how things look — it’s about how things work. A user-friendly site with clear navigation helps visitors find what they’re looking for quickly, improving engagement and reducing bounce rates.
3. SEO and Ranking Boost
Search engines like Google consider site structure, mobile responsiveness, and loading speed — all components of web design — when ranking websites. A well-designed site improves your visibility and drives more organic traffic.
4. Builds Brand Identity
Your website is an extension of your brand. Consistent colors, fonts, and visuals across all pages help establish credibility and make your business memorable. Good design reflects professionalism and attention to detail.
5. Mobile Responsiveness is a Must
More than half of all web traffic comes from mobile devices. A responsive design ensures your site looks and works great on all screen sizes. If your website isn’t mobile-friendly, you risk losing a huge chunk of potential customers.
Conclusion
Investing in a professional website design isn’t just about aesthetics — it’s about functionality, credibility, and growth. Whether you're launching a new business or revamping an old site, high-quality design is key to long-term online success.

Hello everyone!! How are you doing?
I'm feeling a little better. It's been a week and a couple of days since I lost my sweet Dora, her sister came back from the vet yesterday (she was staying there to fully recorver 'cause she also had her surgery the same day Dora died) so I'm happier now that she is back.

And that's a wrap for the CC queue.
Thank you ALL for being here and commenting. I tried to reply back to everyone but in the last 2 days...It's gotten a bit overwhelming. Not in a bad way, but I couldn't keep up. lol. I wanted to thank you all so much!!! Even if I haven't replied, I did read all your lovely comments.
Took today to do some housekeeping on my Downloads page - https://mspoodleplus.tumblr.com/ and made a catalog page. It's linked on the main page of Mspoodle Plus under the Navigate icon.
Reason being...I'm getting close to maxing out my media storage on Wix. I'll leave it up when that happens, but I wanted my main downloads page on here to have a better way to find stuff. It's not perfect but it'll do for now. Let me know if there are any issues and I'll try and fix it. I'm pretty bad at html so I do what I can. 🙈 lol
And @desiree-uk requested a chronological link for the North Bend post. I put a link on my main blogs page and here's the link https://mspoodle1.tumblr.com/tagged/mspoodle%20plays%20north%20bend/chrono/ to all my posting madness while I try to play the game. I'm no storyteller so there's that I guess. 😂 If you've been here since 2012, then you know everything I do is random. This is probably the longest I've stuck with playing a town. *big huge knock on my wood table*
And that's it. I will be seeing you in the next queued post. I wonder what Benjamin and Kyla are going to do with TWO babies? lol

Wix and antivirus
Hi guys! First of all happy new year! Hope you had a wonderful holiday time <3 I'm sorry I'm late, I got a cold again and my only goal for these past days was to rest.
To my surprise, I received a few messages regarding many antivirus programs blocking access to wix sites, and today mine (Avast) also did this. I'm writing this because it's something that does not depend on me, I read that wix could interfere with this kind of programs, so it's something I can't fix. You can fix this though, by putting my site in an exception list.
This sucks!

For years, authors have been told they must have a website.
And for years, most of us have built them using whatever tools we could figure out—WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or, if we were really daring, something hand-coded. But as I wrote in "Disrupting Your Author Website" and "Trust in Technology: A Fairy Tale of Open Source", that process has been getting harder.
WordPress is an ever-changing beast. The tools we used to rely on are shifting beneath us. And keeping a website running is starting to feel like one more full-time job.
Now, BookBub has thrown its hat into the ring with Author Websites by BookBub, a beta platform designed to make the whole process easier.
So… is this the magic fix we’ve been waiting for?
Or just another option in an increasingly crowded landscape?

Hey Wix! Two questions today. 👀👀👀 One botl related, the other about your writing and planning.
The first is related to how Harry and Theo might want to keep each other at arms length, in case they get caught in each others issues. Now that Hogwarts is starting, is there a chance that Harry will be worried about how being involved with Theo might affect Theo? Theo already told Snape his thoughts about it, but maybe Harry DOESNT know that Theo is cool with them still being seen together.
if its spoilers, its fine if you dont answer. Im mostly curious whether any of it will be discussed.
and the other question is about your storyplanning. How did you plan everything? The plot and the arcs? I tend to have issues with building up a plot, and your world has quite a lot of worldbuilding, and themes, and characters. Did you get inspired by anything in particular and it all snowballed, and then you kept adding stuff down the line, or did you have it all planned since the beginning? Like, where did the idea of John come from, for example?
Tumblr media
Have some art for your troubles :)
Tumblr media
⬆️ Me usually when I'm writing
Answering this will have a lot of spoilers for stuff that's already happened in Burning of the Library so I'ma put it below the break for anyone scrolling by.
💕Thank you for even asking these questions! I feel so special hah. Okay - first thing's first, you're right that Harry DOESN'T know that Theo is cool with them being seen together as friends. He doesn't even know that Theo has already decided This Is A Thing That Will Happen.
That will get settled pretty quick in the next chapter or two, but without going too deep into spoiler territory, it won't be that easy in practice. For reasons.
Some of the reasons are obvious (Umbridge stress, judgmental housemates, friendship drama) but the biggest reason is that, basically, Harry will bottle up his issues and hide them from Theo because he thinks Theo has enough to deal with and shouldn't have to put up with Harry's problems. This whole conflict is what I would describe as the next "arc" in his and Theo's friendship.
It's a short arc. I am not a fan of like, misunderstandings and miscommunications being drawn out for a long, long time, but it does need to happen. And it's not really miscommunication as it is a deliberate withholding of communication...but that whole little arc is so good! It's full of angst, anger, drama, revenge, hurt, comfort, all the good stuff that makes me itch to skip ahead and write it right now!
Now - as for Theo...Theo's going to have a very unique hangup about his "closeness" to Harry that I'm sure you'll be able to guess once a certain thing in the plot gets revealed on the train.
Tumblr media
The Writing Process
This gif is how I feel about my storybuilding sometimes. OKAY! Going back in time to September 2023, I created the very first document file for "Burning of the Library" (the name never changed, btw!) And I only had ONE idea, which was that Theo's house would be burned down by fiendfyre, and Harry and Sirius would find him surrounded by a mysterious bubble of light that was sentient and asked Harry to protect him.
So, I wrote that, because I could not get it out of my head. From there, I tried to write backwards to create some kind of plot. I wrote a lot of scenes of Harry being rescued from the Dursleys. Stuff about Houses and Lords and Ladies and old magic. Stuff about him not trusting Dumbledore. Stuff about Sirius fixing his mind. All things that changed (mostly).
At the time I was working on a Powerpuff Girls fic and also my original work, and so I would just kinda take breaks in Harry Potter because it was easy to write.
Anyway, the moment when the story became a Story and not a collection of scenes was when I thought about something I think of often - which is One Piece (my other great obsession and love). Oda famously KNEW how he was going to end this insanely long story right when he started writing it. And I have always, always, always had a problem with endings in my stories, so I basically had this thought experiment where I tried to figure out how I would end this HP story that I had no investment in whatsoever.
And, it worked! I came up with an ending! Or a "final scene", I guess, that led to an idea for a sequel. And then I was like, well fuck, I guess I have a "complete" story idea, I should try and write this.
As far as outlining plot and story arcs, right when I started writing I built waypoints in the plot to basically help me get from "Library Burning Down" to "Wixen's Classified End Scene". They live in my notes as vague titles: "The Train", "Cheering Charms", "The Apology", "The Forest", "Yule", "Quest", "Quidditch", and several more.
But my writing process is entirely character-driven. Sometimes, unexpected POVs will be written to expressly move the plot along, but I love developing these characters so much so I try to incorporate some kind of growth or conflict or revelation in their POV section, if I can. I basically let the characters take me from point to point, which is why my estimate of when we will finally escape summer is always wrong lmao. These people just have a lot to say!
John is kinda funny - he was a totally unexpected and late addition to the story. Originally, when I published the first chapter, John was a TEMPORARY character! He was meant to drop lore about druids and mages and then exit stage left after bringing Harry to the bank. But, I knew I wanted Harry to have a familiar in the story - I just hadn't decided what kind or when. And I hadn't ever seen Harry with a cat in a fic before, so I thought it was a unique idea that might be fun to play around with.
Developing John's character was really fun. I knew he would be a cat-sith almost instantly, and from there I created this life he had with Johanna and then, later, Desmond to figure out WHY he would choose to hang out with Harry.
As far as themes and stuff, I guess I have certain sensibilities in HP fic I wanted to write but don't often read? Like an honest exploration of the Order's actions as a resistance group. And giving Harry more agency, and dreams. I feel like Harry never has a dream in canon. He just...moves from crisis to crisis. I want my Harry to WANT something, something bigger than revenge.
That's how I am for most of my fav characters, Sirius namely. The Slytherins, of course, all have developed backstories and motivations because I think they're criminally underdeveloped. But most of all I wanted to write a story that was not strictly good versus evil - I wanted it to be messy.
Characters WILL do things they think are right but for terrible reasons, or make mistakes, or do the wrong thing that they KNOW is wrong because that's simply the choice they made...yeah. I don't like sanitized stories, I guess lol. Part of my horror background bleeding through I think.
Last thing I'll say...[I'm so long winded...no wonder I wrote 300k words already 🙈] some characters have fates or character arcs I've already decided on. Like Bill, Sirius, Snape, Remus. Others are undecided - mainly Ron. He's a real problem for me right now because I can't decide where he fits in further along, unlike Hermione. Harry and Theo - their WHOLE relationship is planned out. Oh boy. That's the part I spend the most time on, to be real.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ You art is PERFECTION as usual! And I loved your whole thought process on your Blaise comic, that was really awesome to read. You're so thoughtful in your work and it really shows!

Chapter 10
Diagon Alley Part 2
Summary:
The characters read the rest of the chapter...
Notes:
BOLD = Bookquotes ITALICS = Parsel UNDERLINE = Younger Version of a Character
Harry looked down at his own sheet of parchment for the first time.
"There's unlikely to be any major differences," Lucius explained. "More gold if your investments are doing well and of course, you might be eligible for some more of your lordships."
Like the Black one, Harry thought to himself, when he noticed Lucius's eyes drift to his godfather.
INHERITANCE TEST OF HARRY JAMES POTTER Name: Harry James Potter Date of Birth: 31st July 1980 Magical Emancipation: 31st October 1994
"Emancipation?" Harry asked. "31st October 1994..."
"The Goblet of Fire," Hermione said.
Lucius grimaced. "By allowing you to participate in the competition - a competition for of age wix. To participate, you had to be of age, therefore you were of age."
"Huh... Then how was I tried for underage magic?"
"Good question, Heir Potter," Lucius smirked.
Parents: Biological Father: James Fleamont Potter Biological Mother: Lily Potter nee Evans Blood Adopted Father: Sirius Orion Black (Date of Adoption: 1st August 1980) Godparents: God Father: Sirius Orion Black (Ritual completed on the 7th August 1980) God Mother: Alice Longbottom (Ritual completed on the 7th August 1980) Family Gifts and Abilities: Metamorphmagus - Black Family Line Parseltongue - Peverell Family Line Mind Magic - Peverell Family Line Blood Magic  - Potter Family Line Magical Sensitivity - Gifted by Mother Magic Titles: Potter - Lordship - claimable now - no living heir - (Inherited through biological father) Peverell - Lordship - claimable now - no living heir - (Inherited through biological father) Black - Lordship - claimable now - heir Draco Malfoy - (Inherited through blood adopted father)
"So, I'm dead in the future," Sirius murmured. "Thought as much."
Both Harrys looked at him sadly before wrapping their arms around him.
"Not if we can fix it," Harry said.
Emrys - Lordship - claimable now - (Inherited through biological mother) Slytherin - Lordship - claimable now - no living heir - (Won through rite of conquest - 31st October 1981) Gryffindor - Lordship - claimable now - no living heir - (Won through display of bravery - June 1992)
"I'm Lord Gryffindor?" Harry asked. "How...? Oh, the basilisk."
"The... The WHAT?" Sirius jumped to his feet.
"I defeated a basilisk with the sword of Gryffindor."
He said it so matter-of-factly that everyone just gaped at him in awe.
"You'll find out all about it later," Harry said with a shrug, not liking the way they were all staring.
"You managed to get rid of it?" Sirius sighed in relief.
"Yeah," Harry said. He didn't want to worry Sirius and he certainly wasn't about to say - hey! I might be dead.
"Should we continue the story?" young Harry asked.
The goblin wrinkled his nose... You-Know-What in Vault seven hundred and thirteen."
"It really is no wonder your interest was caught, Mr Potter," McGonagall said with a shake of her head.
The goblin read the letter carefully... Very secret.
"Oh dear," Flitwick muttered.
Dumbledore's trusted me... but it was impossible.
"I'm amazed you remembered that much," Bill said. "It's intentionally designed to confuse you. Harder to steal something if you don't know the way to go."
The rattling cart... stalagmite and a stalactite?"
"That's the question you're going with?" Hermione asked. "Your first time at Gringotts and you ask that!"
Harry was surprised just how offended Hermione looked. So, he exchanged a look with Ron and when Ron rolled his eyes, they both burst out laughing.
"Stalagmite's got an 'm' in it,"... faster than blinking.
"They'd have had a job. The goblins would never allow it." Bill laughed. "Especially with all your lordships. And believe me, they know who you are, even if you don't."
"How?" Harry asked.
"They keep their own records of wizarding families." Bill looked seriously for a moment. "You know, Harry. You might actually get away with robbing Gringotts."
"R-r-robbing Gringotts?" Sirius looked like he was about to pass out.
Luckily, Severus hovered a calming draught over to him.
"Thanks Snape," Sirius said, no malice in his voice at all. Much to Snape and Harry's surprise.
How often had they complained... "One speed only," said Griphook.
"That's a lie but they only use the other speed for expecting bearers." Bill was excited to be sharing information he knew about Gringotts. Even if he couldn't share much because of all the secrecy contracts he was under for his work.
They were going even deeper now... scruff of his neck.
"No falling out of the cart, Harry," George teased.
Vault seven hundred and thirteen had no keyhole.
"That's pretty standard for none personal vaults. This one is either owned by a business or perhaps Hogwarts."
"Stand back... About once every ten years," said Griphook with a rather nasty grin.
"That's barbaric!" Hermione screeched.
"That's goblins for you," Bill said with a shrug. "Their bank, their nation, their rules."
"But it shouldn't be allow-"
Bill cut her off. "And who is going to allow or not allow it? Us because we're wix? We are not the owners or governors of the other beings, Hermione."
Something really extraordinary... but at first he thought it was empty.
Everyone was on the edge of their seats, eager to know what all the fuss was about.
Then he noticed a grubby little package... but knew better than to ask.
"That day, at least," Ron teased.
"Come on, back in this infernal cart... Dudley had ever had.
"I was so smug about that," Harry admitted shyly.
"Don't blame you," Severus said. "With a cousin like yours, I would be too."
"Might as well get yer uniform," said Hagrid
"Oh no," Draco whined, slouching in his chair, until his mother gave him a sharp look and insisted he sit up properly, much to Draco's embarrassment.
nodding toward Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions...  feeling nervous.
"You left him!" Mrs Weasley screeched. "You left an eleven year old boy on his own on his first ever trip to the alley?"
Kingsley frowned. As much as his ears protested the sound of Mrs Weasley's screeching, he couldn't disagree with the principle. Harry Potter should not have been left alone. Anything could have happened.
Hagrid looked down, feeling ashamed. "I didn' think."
Madam Malkin was a squat... a boy with a pale, pointed face
"Must be Malfoy," Ron said.
"Hey! I do not have a pointed face."
"You sort of did at eleven," Blaise Zabini said, pointing towards his younger self who did in fact have a pointed face.
standing on a footstool... He had a bored, drawling voice.
"Draco! Where are your manners," Narcissa asked in an angry hiss. "You didn't even introduce yourself. Not to mention, I was not looking at wands. What would be the point in that?"
"Indeed, Mrs Malfoy," Ollivander said, nodding. "A pure waste of time without the wielder in question."
"Then I'm going to drag them off... I'll smuggle it in somehow. "
"He tried too," Lucius said. "Not the bullying his father part," he glared at his son, "but the smuggling part."
"One of the house elves caught him," Narcissa said, shaking her head.
Harry was strongly reminded of Dudley.
"HEY! I'm nothing like that muggle."
"You were acting like him," Harry said with a shrug.
"I can see the similarities," Lucius said under his breath, so quietly only his other self heard and choked on a chuckle.
"Have you got your own broom?... Father says it's a crime if I'm not picked to play for my house, and I must say, I agree.
"I did, did I? I can't recall saying that. I distinctly remember saying that if you want me to sign off on you being on the team, you better be in the top ten percent of your class. And preferably higher."
Know what house you'll be in yet?"... all our family have been
"Draco, darling, have you really not noticed that you're only getting monosyllabic replies? Perhaps you should have let the poor boy speak." Narcissa looked at her son indulgently. "I apologise Heir Potter. It appears my son was overexcited to be starting school."
"It's okay, Mrs Malfoy." Harry really couldn't wrap his mind around how nice the Malfoys were being.
imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?"
"Now that was unnecessary," she tutted as the Hufflepuffs in the room glared at the blond.
"Mmm," said Harry, wishing he could say something a bit more interesting.
"I had no idea what he was talking about... Quidditch, hufflepuff, slytherin. I was so lost."
"I say, look at that man!"... He's a sort of servant, isn't he?"
"DRACO!" Narcissa looked ready to spit fire. "I did not hear that correctly. My son did not call Mr Hagrid a servant."
"Sorry mother."
"Don't apologise to me, apologise to Mr Hagrid."
"Sorry, Professor Hagrid." It actually might be the first time Draco had ever shown Hagrid an ounce of respect. "I really didn't mean it. I just wanted to seem... well, like I knew something."
"He's the gamekeeper," said Harry. He was liking the boy less and less every second.
"Don't blame you," several people muttered.
"Yes, exactly... ends up setting fire to his bed. "
Lucius pinched the bridge of his nose and stood to his feet. "It would appear, I also owe you an apology Mr Hagrid. Probably more than one. But I appear to have been indiscreet in front of my son and he repeated stories that should not have been repeated. I humbly express my sincere apology."
"Er... okay." Hagrid looked highly uncomfortable.
"As a death eater," he took a sigh, "I frequently said things I neither meant nor intended to be overheard by my son."
"You're admitting to being a death eater?" Moody asked, leaning forward.
"It'd be pointless not to," Lucius said. "Approximately half the people here already know."
"I think he's brilliant," said Harry coldly.
"Thank yer, Harry," Hagrid said, beaming at him.
"Do you?" said the boy, with a slight sneer... not sounding sorry at all.
"Draco! Where is your empathy?" Narcissa looked truly ashamed now.
"But they were our kind, weren't they?"
"You did not just ask that!" Snape growled across the room at his godson.
Draco merely held his head down in shame. He'd never intended his parents or godfather to find out. "You're probably going to be disappointed in me a lot during these books."
"I appreciate the warning," Severus said, although he certainly did not sound appreciative.
"They were a witch and wizard... What's your surname, anyway?"
Lucius closed his eyes and then got to his feet again. "Again, I apologise for being indiscreet in front of my son. He clearly repeated what he believed I thought."
Draco was horrified that his father had had to apologise for his behaviour twice now.
"But that is what you think, isn't it?" Ginny Weasley asked, her arms crossed.
"Not quite. Or perhaps yes. I - like many purebloods - disapprove of how much our society is being changed to accommodate muggleborns. And yes, there is a sort of prideful insolence that often comes with being a lord of an ancient house. An arrogance that clearly my son has in spades. Because we see ourselves as the gatekeepers of our culture, the protectors of our time honoured traditions and beliefs. But does that mean that I believe muggleborns should be eradicated or disallowed to attend Hogwarts... Perhaps in my most angry moments, it might. But no, I know as well as anyone that would not be the answer."
She looked like she wanted to argue, as did Hermione, but Harry shook his head. Lucius Malfoy would have to face his actions in later books. They didn't need to subjugate him to the judgement of those here before everyone knew exactly what he had done and had had the opportunity to defend himself. Just as Dumbledore would.
But before Harry could answer... "Nothing," Harry lied.
"Of course, he did," Hermione mumbled.
When everyone looked her way, she explained. "He never tells anyone how he is feeling."
They stopped to buy parchment and quills... not knowin' about Quidditch!"
"Only the best sport in the world," Charlie said.
"Don't make me feel worse... Look what she had fer a sister!"
"Worst muggle of the lot," muttered Snape.
"So what is Quidditch?"... sorta hard ter explain the rules. "
"It's really not," Charlie said.
"And what are Slytherin and Hufflepuff?"... a lot o' duffers
"HEY!" several Hufflepuffs cried out and Madam Sprout looked like she was considering cancelling Hagrid's invitation to her knitting club.
but... You-Know-Who was one. "
"That's not fair," Blaise Zabini said. "You can't black mark an entire house just because one wizard was an evil bastard."
"It's not just one wizard though, is it?" Ginny said.
"People have gone bad in the other houses too, Gin," Harry said calmly. "That said, Hagrid might be a little biased and given his life experiences, I can understand why. But perhaps, I should have been informed about the houses without prejudice. Problem is, you're all just as prejudiced as each other. The Slytherins hate the Gryffindors because they're Old Dumbles favourites, everyone looks down on Hufflepuff because apparently being hard working is actually unworthy, never mind being loyal, Ravenclaws are called a bunch of nerds and Slytherins are evil... so yeah, you're all walking stereotypes apparently. And because you're all prejudiced you actually allow your houses - or the expectation society puts on your house - to mold your personalities. Can you say stupid?"
No one knew what to say to that so they all thought it might be wiser to stay quiet.
"Vol-, sorry... Professor Vindictus Viridian.
"Really wanted that book too," Harry muttered. "Thought it would be great to curse Dudley."
"I was trying to find out how to curse Dudley... before yeh get ter that level. "
"You encouraged him?" Molly Weasley said. "He's talking about cursing muggles."
"Have you met the muggle in question?" Harry asked.
"Well..." Mrs Weasley wasn't sure how to continue. "His behaviour does not make it right. Two wrongs do not make a right."
"No, but a curse that prevent future wrongs being inflicted on me. I see that as a win."
"Me too," young Harry said.
Hagrid wouldn't let Harry buy a solid gold cauldron, either ("It says pewter on yer list"),
"And for good reason!" Severus huffed. "You wouldn't have the first clue how to use a gold cauldron. Not at eleven."
"I still don't," Harry admitted, with a cheeky grin, causing his potions professor to almost laugh. Almost.
but they got a nice set of scales... basic potion ingredients for Harry
Severus groaned. "Never ask for the basic pack. They'll sell you the worst ingredients in the shop!"
"Well... maybe that explains why I was so bad at potions," Harry said.
"No, Harry, that was because Snape hates you," Ron replied.
Hermione merely shook her head and said, "If you studied a little more, you'd have done brilliantly, I'm sure."
Harry himself examined silver unicorn horns... a birthday present. "
"My very first real birthday present," Harry said, smiling over at the half giant. Only for his smile to drop when he remembered that his Hedwig was gone.
Harry felt himself go red... sounding just like Professor Quirrell.
"She was a beautiful bird," Luna said sadly.
"What happened to her?" young Harry asked.
"You'll find out," Harry said softly. "I owe her my life."
"Don' mention it," said Hagrid gruffly... best wand. "
"Thank you, Rubeus. You are too kind," Ollivander said.
A magic wand... tingle with some secret magic.
"That was your magical sensitivity, Mr Potter. If you hone that skill, you might even be able to tell when a person near you is glamoured."
Harry smiled at Mr Ollivander.
"I imagine you'd be an impressive wand maker, with that gift," the man continued.
"Or auror," Moody said, not wanting to be outdone.
And just because he felt like it, Bill piped up, "It's useful for Curse Breaking too."
"Good afternoon," said a soft voice... Harry Potter. "
"That's not creepy at all," Fred told the two Georges.
It wasn't a question... it's really the wand that chooses the wizard, of course. "
"Do you really remember every wand you've ever sold, Mr Ollivander," young Percy asked eagerly.
"Indeed. They are my children. My pride. My joy. With each wand I sell, I help let magic loose on the world. Of course, sometimes, I come to regret it. But often, so often, I am delighted by the results."
"Which wands have you re-"
"PERCY! You can't ask that!" Mrs Weasley looked horrified.
"It's okay, Mrs Weasley. I have a feeling we're about to find out." He pointed towards the book as it began reading once more.
Mr. Ollivander had come so close... "I'm sorry to say I sold the wand that did it," he said softly.
"And I sincerely meant it, Mr Potter."
"I know. Thank you."
"Thirteen-and-a-half inches... "But you don't use them?" said Mr. Ollivander sharply.
"Very dangerous to use a broken wand," he said just as sharply.
"Oh, no, sir," said Hagrid quickly... another wizard's wand."
"Too often people forget their wandlore. Passing on family wands... It's okay for a spare wand or a practice wand before Hogwarts but certainly not as your main wand."
Harry suddenly realized that the tape measure... the happier he seemed to become.
"Bloody hell, Harry! Just how many wands did you try?"
"Almost the whole shop," Harry muttered.
Ollivander merely laughed. "Not quite. Many of the wands in my shop would not have coped with your power, even if you had a block."
He glared momentarily at Albus. Disappointment clear in his eyes.
"Tricky customer, eh?... "but what's curious?"
"I remember thinking how wonderful your manners were. Wrote and told Dumbledore I thought so!"
Mr. Ollivander fixed Harry with his pale stare... gave you that scar. "
"Brother wands?" several of the younger ones asked, confused.
"That's insanely rare," Bill remarked.
"I've only heard of a handful of brother wands," Ollivander agreed. "And never in the hands of enemies."
"Why?" young Ron asked.
"Because they will not fight each other," Ollivander said. "I should have known... Right in that moment, I should have known that Lady Magic did not want you to fight him."
He shook his head. "I should have known and I should have warned you."
"Not fight him?" Harry asked. "How could I not?"
"I do not know what Lady Magic intended. I only know that she sought not war but peace."
Harry swallowed... terrible, yes, but great. "
"What a terrible thing to say," young Mrs Weasley said.
"Why?" Harry asked, bemused. "It's the truth, isn't it? If you ignore the right and wrong of it. Ignore the good and evil and morality of the whole thing and just look at the magic, he's not wrong. Voldie performed feats of magic most would never even consider, achieved things that others would have thought impossible."
"But he shouldn-" Hermione started.
"Of course, he shouldn't have. No one is disputing that. Yes. What he did was wrong but the magic, yeah, it was impressive."
Dumbledore nodded. He could see Harry's point of view and honestly agreed with him. "Objectively yes, he was an incredible wizard."
Hermione's eyes bulged.
"Professor, I think you just broke Hermione," Ron said.
Harry shivered... tapped him on the shoulder.
"Sorry. Had a lot to think about."
"Of course, yer did. I understood that," Hagrid smiled at him.
"Got time fer a bite to eat... How can they expect great things?
"Oh Harry," Hermione and Mrs Weasley said in tandem.
I'm famous... the night my parents died."
"It was too heavy a burden," Albus said quietly. "I really was trying to spare you from it. I know I failed miserably putting you with your aunt and uncle but I really did think I could spare you from the expectations of the wizarding world. For a little while at least."
"I know, sir. Had to face them eventually though," Harry said with a shrug.
Hagrid leaned across the table... still do, 'smatter of fact."
"That was a nice thing to say, Hagrid," Sprout said.
Hagrid helped Harry on to the train... Hagrid had gone.
"You didn't just apparate on a busy platform," Madam Bones said, "with a broken wand and no license?"
"Er..."

Future-Proof Your Brand: Why a Holistic Digital Marketing Strategy Matters in 2025
An in-depth guide by Digitalized Era
In the post-cookie, AI-driven landscape of 2025, piecemeal tactics are no longer enough to keep a brand visible, relevant, and profitable. Whether you run a local bakery in Jacksonville or a SaaS start-up in London, you need a holistic digital marketing strategy that ties every channel—SEO, social, paid ads, content, email, and web development—into one cohesive growth machine.
1. The Shift From “Channel Thinking” to “Customer Journey Thinking”
Old model
“We need Facebook posts.”
“Let’s run a Google Ads campaign this quarter.”
New model
“Sarah discovers us on TikTok, reads a blog we rank for on Google, joins our email list, and finally converts through a retargeting ad.”
This journey mindset forces you to optimise touchpoints together rather than in silos—exactly what Digitalized Era’s 360-degree process delivers:
Site Audit & UX checks
Deep market + keyword research
On-page & technical SEO
Cross-channel content mapping
Unified paid + organic reporting
Continuous CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation)
2. Data Privacy & First-Party Data: The 2025 Reality
By the end of 2024, Chrome will have deprecated third-party cookies. Brands that fail to build first-party data pipelines will pay up to 35 % more for the same ad results. Digitalized Era helps you:
Capture consent with value-driven lead magnets
Segment subscribers in GDPR/CCPA-compliant workflows
Deploy personalised email drips that nurture, upsell, and retain
Result: lower acquisition costs, higher lifetime value.
3. AI Is Only as Good as Your Strategy
Tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Google Gemini can accelerate content production—but they can’t replace:
Brand voice & POV
Strategic keyword selection
Human-centred storytelling
Our content marketing team blends AI efficiency with senior-level editorial oversight to create assets that rank and convert. Expect:
Long-form pillar pages
Social micro-content repurposed from cornerstone blogs
Data-rich infographics coded for fast mobile load times
4. Local, National, or Global: SEO Tactics That Scale
Local SEO – GMB optimisation, NAP consistency, hyper-local schema
E-commerce SEO – faceted navigation fixes, Shopify/Woo Commerce technical audits
International SEO – hreflang mapping, currency/region-specific content
Digitalized Era’s proprietary reporting dashboard shows real-time rank shifts across markets so you can allocate budget where ROI is highest.
5. Paid Media Is No Longer “Set & Forget”
Average CPCs rose 19 % last year in the US. To stay profitable you need:
Intent-driven keyword clusters, not vanity terms
AI-augmented bid strategies with human QA
Cross-channel attribution (PPC + organic + email)
Our PPC specialists iterate weekly, pausing under-performers and reallocating spend to winning ad sets—so every rupee, dollar, or pound works harder.
6. UX-Focused Web Design: Your New Sales Rep
A 0.1-second improvement in load time can boost conversions by 8 %. Digitalized Era’s design & dev squad builds:
Mobile-first, Core Web Vitals-optimized sites
Shopify, WordPress & Wix builds that integrate seamlessly with CRM and marketing automation
Accessibility-compliant interfaces (WCAG 2.2)
Beautiful and built to rank.
7. Measuring What Matters
Vanity metrics (likes, impressions) don’t pay the bills. We align on KPIs tied directly to revenue:
Qualified leads generated
Customer acquisition cost (CAC)
Average order value (AOV)
Customer lifetime value (CLV)
Return on ad spend (ROAS)
Our live dashboards deliver clarity, not confusion.
8. Success Stories
Leather Made In Italy moved from zero top-100 keywords to page-one dominance. Prevail Clothing scaled organic traffic 3× in six months. Cozyts saw Instagram engagement jump 220 % after a visual revamp.
Your brand could be next.

Would you mind sharing a little about how you made your website for sharing your art? I want to make one, but I'm not sure where to start.
Not at all!
So, what I did was write my site in HTML and CSS from scratch and then hosted it on Neocities. Which, for a little bit of background, I had a li'l leg up on because I learned HTML in high school and then picked both it and CSS back up recently for my day job, and my partner was a huge help in understanding some of the backend type stuff for editing and adding a bit of Javascript. It has its pros and cons versus using something like Squarespace, or even using a framework to help shortcut the HTML/CSS--some stuff on the page is still a little broken, and I haven't fixed it yet!
If you're interested in going down the same path I did, there are lots of resources available! I started with (the free parts of) Codecademy, but Neocities itself has a page on learning skills for website building, and personally if I was going to start over I think that's where I'd begin. You can find that here: https://neocities.org/tutorials
Otherwise, if picking that up is too intimidating or time consuming (very understandable!) you can look into WYSIWYG ("what you see is what you get") editors like Squarespace, Wordpress, or Wix, which I believe are more built to drag and drop page elements onto a site so you can see it as its being built, and you don't have to mess with the code part (unless you want to!).
I hope that helps! If you've got questions, I can try to assist--though I'm not sure I'm the best at explaining stuff, haha~

Note
It's your wix site that gives the error the other anon complained about. You can only download a few pieces of cc before being completely unable to access your website and getting the "429: Too many requests" error code.
I read it can happen when bots try to make too many requests to the server, I have no clue why tho. It happened in the past already but I couldn't make something to fix it, just had to wait :)
Thank you for the feedback!
