B. “I just got out of a relationship and i’m not ready to date again”… and then proceeds to get booed up with someone else a few days later

C. ghosts/blocks you

As a hopeless romantic who has been chronically single… I seriously envy the sensuality couples/soulmates have whenever they “check-in” with each other.

Just imagine feeling so secured and at home with someone.

Where whenever they sense you in distress, the first thing they do is stare at you and search for any expression, any telltale of how you might be feeling.

Sometimes, even without asking, they already know how to ground you, how to make you feel safe, how to make you feel better.

You get to know someone long enough that eventually they’re familiar with your thought patterns. They learn how to be there for you because they care deeply for you; they love you.

I can only long and hope to experience that one day. Alas, for now I must depend solely on myself until that day comes.

I agree. But forget the context of friends for a minute, surely it has to be a different experience with an S/O 🥲… I feel like I’m skimping on BONUS CHAPTERS.

Like, where I’m travelling alone or with family, I could imagine have enjoying differently with an S/O instead. I kinda grieve the lost of that fictional reality 😂…not like I’m rich to visit the same international place 2-3 times again either…
