Ed Roth may be the most influential man in car/hot rod culture. He changed the way not only cars were getting painted, stripped but more importantly built. Having influence on an industry let alone an entire culture means you have something that people need and want. In 2016 I was still working as an educator and we did a men’s grooming event in Venice,Ca. I found the venue and one of my favorite people on the planet @glistenmakeup did all the serious leg work! -It was held the day ISSE ended in Long Beach. In my memory it was not a bad turnout. -It was me and @stevenlightfoothair and this was only my 4th time in this position, but turned out to be the first time that people in this industry were listening to what I had to say and what I was doing (or at least attempting to say and do). I was not a showman I was just a barber trying to share what I do. -I still look back on this day fondly. This event was featured on the @esteticamagazine website. I became friends with @pc4hair and I learned that in all my awkwardness on the platform there is an honesty to being who you are.
