I’m leaving the States

Hello! I know I’ve been talking about my news for a little bit now on other platforms but I feel like I should definately share it here too.

I am finally making the big jump and have put in my two weeks notice, as well as booked a one way flight to Amsterdam. I will be officially moving out of the states and to The Netherlands to live with my fiancé Ruben!

He had proposed to me last year on July 19th, and now only a whole year later are we actually ready to make this move. The ammount of stress, government papers, phone calls, doctors appointments, and prepping, has all been leading up to this, and even then, we still have a long ways to go even after I get settled in.

This massive change has brought with it excitement, and so so much apprehension. I’m only leaving everything I’ve ever known and loved behind to be with my soulmate, and the fact that my family is fully supportive of me makes this so much harder for me mentally.

The people I will especially miss are my grandparents and my father, as my grandparents were the ones to raise me, and my father, regardless of his dogshit political standing, has been so empathetic and close with me in a way my mother was never. I love my mother a lot, a whole damn lot, however she has been extremely mentally abusive to me and my father for the past 10 years and each year it got worse. However, that’s a whole ‘nother story for another post.

If you have read this far, congratulations! So now, the part on how this will interfere with my posting. ✨

Because of this, for the time being my commissions are CLOSED. Any new ones will have to be put on hold until I get settled into my new home, and then afterwards I may put a discount on prices to help save up so Ruben and I can eventually move out of the current apartment and afford a house. If someone could give me €400K that would be nice

I have already lost a lot of sleep during this time and I can only hope and pray for a smooth transition to my new life. 🇳🇱
