weird how some words look good in text but don't sound good when said, and vice versa

there should be speakspeak which is just speaking the language, then writespeak which is a phonetic transcription of the language (like how finnish does it (very cool language btw check it out)), then writewrite which is an entirely different language that's made for writing but not designed to be good for speaking, then speakwrite which is a verbal transcription of that language

guess online english is kinda close to writewrite but still just a dialect of english so only partially optimized for writing

3. Describe the creative process of writing a chapter/fic

For your reading displeasure, the general thought process as i write:

"OKAY! GOT AN IDEA! TIME TO WRITE! *writewritewritewrite*....hmm. *write....write* wait shit no that was a fucking typ-oh for fuck's sake *editeditwritewrite* wait no that sentence is...no wait a second *editeditDELETEwrite...write* oh shit that was a good one! *writewrite* eh, a break is in order methinks. a short one. [INTERMISSION OF UP TO A WEEK] okay back to it *writewritewrite...write.....write........* OH GOD THIS HAS BEEN IN MY DOCS FOR TOO LONG IM FINISHING THIS RIGHT THE HELL NOW *WRITEWRITEWRITEWRITEWRITE* done!...is it 2 am?...oops. *quick edit, post* Okay! now to lay in my bed and write nothing for a week!"

16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them?

Too many, you know this Becc. I got one where MK tries to get Wukong and DBK to reconcile, another general thing with Baiken and Eri (also just assume I have SOMETHING in mind for either or both of these two at any given time), and a few more you'll have to wait for ;)

18. Do you title your fics before, during, or after the writing process? How do you come up with titles?

Usually after, though there are some times where I come up with a REALLY good title on accident that just NEEDS a fic to come with it. And I usually just think of something off the top of my head. Usually something metaphorically or thematically relevant that you don't have to scratch your head over too much.

19. What is the most-used tag on your ao3?

I dunno! Let's check!....to the surprise of absolutely no one it is, in fact "Eri" for character tags with a whopping 21 fics! As for general tags "Drabble" is at 11 with "angst" at a very close second place with 10. neat!

24. Worst writing advice anyone ever gave you?

Okay not gonna go with "kill your darlings" this time because sometimes YEAH death can be a useful trope sure whatever it has some merit so i won't keep beating on it.

I think there was one about writing habits "just keep picking away!" like with persistence. literally NEVER worked for me. early on when I just started writing I'd just sit in front of an empty word doc feeling bad about myself instead of just closing it when I figured no writing was going to happen today so I should just cool my head off instead.

Despite the the Pandemic and spending 100% of my time at home. I continue to do what I love. Write, write , write. I can't thank God enough for the strength and courage I've developed over the years to tap into this side of my creativity. After much consideration and encouragement from many individuals. I have finally decided to write part 2 to Liberty's story. I will be going on a short retreat in a few months to get myself in writers mode, and to flesh out the ideas I have for book 2. Mediations in May (A long-ish piece👇) . . My Black Dog Over very many years, I have known a black dog. And in this time we have walked together through a fog; Singular in purpose, we agreed to disagree, That despite the crowd, we had only each other for company. The black dog came to me one day, I don't remember when, in the death of a night, or the month of May; It crept onto my shoulders, whispering softly into my ear, "There little girl, as a precept forever shall I be near". I felt it's cold breath, it’s leaden weight, it’s silence unkempt, And through my mind and body, violent shivers swept; Unknowing, I sat in fear, I shed a tear, I called out in vain to those around me and near. Like a grand puppeteer, it had me steered, Swerving in circles, each turn it commandeered. “Shh, little girl, your fight strengthens me, so don't put it to the test," To illustrate the example, it  settled its chilling weight onto my chest. With my breath drawn out, I felt my senses being crushed, My thoughts slowed to a halt and my feelings aside were brushed. And then as the black dog took a breath there settled a thick haze, But as the blanket descended on my inner world, I took comfort in a grey, stifling daze. But then time did what it does best and passed by, As the mornings turned to night, the black dog became mine. I floated through the world with the black dog on my back and a spectator in my bubble, While slowly flitted in the realisation that the black dog was my trouble. Invisible, inexplicable had been the weight that I had been carrying around, And I sought across multiple spaces and distant places for a resolution to be found. But it dawned on me, that I was the key, It was my energy that would cause my foe to flee. So I channeled myself and my energies, On creating an awareness that would set me free. Before I know it, she sits down on the bed beside me. She dangles her ghostly legs off the side of the bed, and runs her fingers along the soft bed sheet.

She turns to face me.

“Simon,” Her eyes sparkle as she says my name again. She reaches out to me, and cups the side of my face in her icy cold hand. “I never would have left you...””

I’m setting up a word crawl in the NaNoWriMo forums for y’all to do throughout the day, based around some Thanksgiving themes. They’re small enough chunks that you should be able to write them throughout the day and big enough that you can get some serious words down on paper. . I’m doing the crawl live that afternoon. . Sometimes pain just come through our lives, without even knowing where, what, when or how it came. And sometimes we bother doing anything because we are being dubious on what possibilities might happen so we just don't do anything and wait. The pain will fade eventually and you will be just left with your tears dwelling up from your now less rufulgent eyes. The pain leaves a mark, it always does. Regrets, Nostalgia, Hatred: The scar will remind you these. And it's up to you if you want the scar to be ignored and disappear or be perennial.
