#writing funny blurbs isnt the same

hi… all your recent seb writings have rly been on my mind lately.. I know u said ur rly busy w existing requests which I totally get so only think about this if u wanna!!

buuut I was thinking about how in ur past blurbs about him, the reader knows seb like the back of her hand, always able to understand how he’s feeling and comfort him exactly right with just what he needs… I was wondering how u think it goes when the roles r reversed? Like when the reader’s just had such a day, is so tired of being big and strong and just needs to switch off for a while but doesn’t quite know how, and Seb gets to take care of her instead? (It’s me I’ve had such a day 😭😭😇😔)

orrr if ur not feeling Seb atm how do u think the other boys would be w that sort of thing? your daddy/caregiver rob stuff is so unmatched 🎀

as we know i rly like to think of seb as like … all over the place at first. he doesn’t rly have a hold on his own emotions he desperately needs some therapy yah yah yah the works. buuuuttt ive been rly indulging (n’s fault) in seb being more dominant/caregiver type .. so uve just read my mind (im also gna probably babble abt the other two as well) (its funny i used to only like rob w this stuff and now im expanding my horizons)

sure, u do a rllly good job w seb. like, u learn how to handle him if he’s overstimulated, how gentle to touch him, how to talk him down if he’s angry. and once he’s gone through some therapy/possibly getting medicated, he gains a new appreciation for u (not tht he didn’t have it b4… he just had to work through shit). u do a rly good job with exploring his horizons.. allowing him to slip in the comfort of ur bed.. he’d put u as worlds #1 mama any day. so like, u guys have settled, things are going good, and then it’s just…. domestic issues. ur being overworked, maybe u’ve got some issues with friends, haven’t been feeling well lately, and it’s piling up on u. seb takes a bit longer to notice than u wld if it were him, but over time he’s gotten rly well at reading ur expressions, how u talk… he can notice if ur tone is off a bit for too long.

maybe ur cuddling n he just outright asks if ur okay, if u’ve been feeling alright. u try to lie and say ur fine .. but c’mon.. he knows u better than that. he insists quietly.. ‘are u sure?’ ‘are u lying to me?’ ‘c’mon.. please let me help, i can tell ur upset about somethin’.. ughrb u don’t do good w confrontation, u get all teary and sniffly and overwhelmed and ur just like ‘i don’t know’ and he’s gotta be like oh shit. makes u face him and cradles ur cheeks wipes ur rapidly falling tears away. unknowingly his sweet tone already made ur brain a bit fuzzy, it’s new for u, different, smth a bit scary but thank goodness he’s here w u bc being alone wld be miserable.

‘hey.. baby, ‘s alright.. just talk to me, yeah? i got you’

listens while u babble through ur tears for a bit. stuff about not feeling good, ur so tired, ur back hurts ur feet hurts, u only have one day off work and even then u don’t get to relax, maybe ur even just feeling down on urself cuz u guys haven’t had a date night in a while and u think ur neglecting him. he’ll stop u after a bit bc then u just get a bit self deprecating, shushing and tsking. there’s this.. instinct in his chest, a deep ache tht hurts seeing u so upset. but at the same time .. it’s a bit reminiscent to him.

it kinda clicks in his head, and he leans into it, talking gently, to see if it’ll work w u. he’ll tell u tht ur taking tomorrow off work, and then go to the bathroom with u. he’ll clean up ur face with a cold cloth, dab away ur tears n soothe the growing ache in ur eyes. u’ll whimper tht ur head hurts and he’s gotta coo. in ur bedroom, he changes u into some pajamas and then digs around in the lower drawer of ur nightstand. it houses his own stuff, some coloring books, crayons/pencils, a pacifier he was beyond embarrassed when u bought it for him, a couple squishy/fidget toys, a few other things. the plushes he likes stay on ur bed or chair, never tucked away.

he’ll get one of the books out, and then gather a couple plushies and set them all in front of u. ‘who do u want to keep u company? bear? maybe puppy?’ u pick out the brown and white puppy plush, finding a deep comfort in curling ur fingers against the soft fur. that earns u a kiss on the forehead. ‘okay, now pick out a picture and start working on it, hm? i’m gonna get u some medicine and, how about a snack?’ he can tell ur not .. too big on the decisions right now, so he lists off a couple items till u light up a bit, nodding at the mention of some crackers and cheese, some juice too. he mentions sneaking in some candy as well.

he doesn’t dare leave u alone for long. comes back w a snack plate, finding u on ur tummy n coloring a page. it’s of a kitty and a ball of yarn. he has u sit up to take the pain pill he brought, finding it so cute how u whine a bit, but he says that he and puppy will be awfully proud if u take it, because they know it’ll make u feel better. so… u listen. pill downed, u get to take a break from coloring the pink ball of yarn to snack. u totally sneak some of the candy pieces first, and he pretends not to notice as he changes. once in bed w u, he rubs ur back, slips his hand under ur shirt to scratch w his dull nails. asks u what color ur gna make the kitty, thinks it’s cute how ur tone is a bit lighter, airy, sleepy. will tuck hair behind ur ear as he turns the tv on, gives u a couple options of what show to watch, or if u wanna watch some stuff on youtube. u settle for my little pony .. shocker.. and then it’s quiet between u both for a while.

he observes u coloring, sets up little cracker and cheese slices for u to eat every few minutes, offers u sips of juice. he ends up paying attention to the show more than u do bc ur so locked in to finishing the picture. after just a bit, u do, and ur holding the book up for him to see all happy, ‘finished!!’

he just stares for a minute b4 telling u he loves u

honestly the other two are kinda similar so this isn’t gna be nearly as long. rob’s gna be the closest to seb, he’ll be ready to get u a snack and talks to u a looot, especially if u’ve gone nonverbal, like he doesn’t let it get too quiet. likes to set tasks for u too, has u color or do a puzzle, tht way he can get dinner prepped or handle some of the chores u wld normally do (if ur puppy too … he’ll put u down for a nap in ur big bed so he can do stuff, same w any of them). but like seb wld, rob wld also sit w u and either do his own coloring page or smth, watch a show w u, he engages a lot and makes sure he’s knowledgeable in the things u like. u gotta correct him on this color or a fact abt ur show, ur say how ur plushy would not have said tht why wld rob even suggest it .. (he said ur bear wanted u to drink water)

charlie’s similar but at the same time everythings very new for him. seb knows stuff bc of his own slipping, u teaching him things and exploring it together, rob already knew vaguely abt little space and he just has a natural knack for it anyways, but charlie? i mean … first time u slipped he was .. so …. sooo confused. u were just cryin and cryin and he had no idea how to calm his sweet doll down. u ended up falling asleep in his arms biting on the collar of his shirt and leaving him worried. talked to u the next day and u both were equally lost LOL. so like .. charlie has a lot to explore w u.. but he does it well. researches up stuff and will suggest this or tht, learns what works for u. unlike rob and seb, u cannot be away from him in this headspace. it’s agony, u cry and cry and just can’t do it no matter what. charlie thinks it’s sweet, but he also has to get stuff some around the house to take the load off of u. so, he ends up carrying u from room to room, getting u comfy w a blanket around u and either a game/video on ur phone or smth to occupy urself. he’ll do the dishes, then migrate to the laundry room, then upstairs to put clothes away. takes absolutely forever to do anything bc u keep asking him for help on a puzzle or to find this video for him, and he keeps indulging by cooing at u, kissing ur face, getting distracted by watching u play ur game. u help w the laundry but the folding job is sloppy and whilst … personally he’d just leave it that way, bigger u wld clobber him over the back of the head if he didn’t fix it. so he indulges u and then fixes it once ur on ur phone again LOL ….

silly little goofball reader x vil thoughts

ive pondered the idea of a pomefiore reader insert for a while. one that's silly, a class clown really. i am pretty partial to jesters tho and twst has an agonizing lack of harlequin-esque characters for a fairytale based game. where are my diamond print tights and jingly little hats??? im literally dying here.

i much prefer actual dorm related reader inserts to the generic you-are-yuu inserts. dont get me wrong, i like both, but i think it can get boring if EVERY insert or scenario is the same one. ill have to post more about other inserts i might consider writing blurbs for.

i think bouncing off of vil, rook, and epels personalities would be prime for a little funnyman. you're not exactly disruptive or chaotic, but you like to have a good time and crack jokes. oftentimes met with the chagrin of vil, who tries very hard not to humor your little games. he doesn't hide his grin behind his hand, because youre not funny at all. if you prank the other dorms or do things out of sight of vil, that's one thing, but you don't get to be a little clown right in his line of sight.

vil's your king and you're his silly little guy. i think it leaves room for a very close relationship only privy to the two of you (and rook) because others just see you getting in trouble with your dorm leader, but you respect him in your own way. you certainly wont tolerate any bad talk about your beloved senpai. and despite being a shit-stirring little so and so, you do listen to vil when he tells you that you have to follow a skincare routine and he's kind enough to give you tips on your theatrical makeup. (whats that meme of the two girls, one sitting on the other while she does the other girls makeup? thats the type of energy for this relationship)

epel is grateful to have at least one upperclassman who isnt so caught up in trying to make him act like someone he's not. you're more than happy to sneak sweets and junk food with him, and make the punishment for getting caught at least partly bearable (if it werent for your awful puns).

I absolutely agree babes, I only see a handleful of Michael blogs and posts in tags and it’s really upsetting. Especially since it’s sooooo easy to find writing, posts and blogs for 3/4. And occasionally I will see him get shit for not being as attractive as the others or that his voice isn’t the best or even his sense of style? Seriously? Lemme tell you every time I listen to a 5sos song I listen extra hard to hear Michael’s voice and pay attention to his guitar melodies/riffs/etc. My mans is talented, gorgeous, so kind hearted, funny, adorable—I could go on on and on.

I’m not gonna get into his relationship, because I know there are a looot of people out there who dislike Crystal; but I do think him being engaged has something to do with a lack of writings for him.
