companies forcing ai integration has made them stupid.

i'm writing a paper in microsoft word, which used to have functional grammatical fixes. sure, sometimes they were off, and didn't take into account the context of the entire sentence, but they picked up on subtleties i didn't, and it was a good tool.

now?

they're all wrong.

they try and change tenses that don't make sense, change prepositions into ones that don't make gramatical sense, add or remove words that change the context of the sentence entirely.

this push for ai integration has made ai stupid. trying to make it smarter has made it worse, and it's pissing me off.
