Aw yis, I’ve never thoroughly talked these two out so here we go~

How did they they meet?

Jioro signed up for the Vigil who’d agreed to give her a grant to study and dismantle the rogue Steam Creatures after Scarlet was defeated. Laranthir is the Vigil member who would regularly check in on her and pick up her reports for her sponsor.

Who developed romantic feelings first?

Laranthir did. Jioro was pretty impersonal at first but over the course of several visits he got to see a bit of her enthusiasm for her work under her social awkwardness. She’s incredibly kind and smart.

Who is their biggest “shipper?”

Roanna I think? I’d have to double check with @ascalonianpicnic​ but I think she’s a bigger supporter than Aqun by a bit just due to more outward enthusiasm and not being a hardass.

When did they have their first kiss and under what circumstances?

The two were saying goodbye after their second date, and before Jioro stood up and out of reach after a hug Laranthir took the chance to give her a quick kiss.

Who confessed their feelings first?

Laranthir, who decided one day to just take the chance, and got lucky that Jioro did feel the same way.

What was their first official date?

Just a simple dinner date. The two stuck to a small town since Jioro hates busy cities, and stopped in at a local pub for some nice warm food in the mountains.

How do they feel about double dates/group dates?

It’s a hard no for Jioro. Laranthir wouldn’t mind, but respects her comfort levels.

What do they do in their down time?

When Laranthir has a break from work he likes to visit Jioro’s workshop and simply watch her go about her day. He usually brings her lunch or takes her out for a meal when she’s done for the day too.

What was the first meeting of parents as an official couple like?

Laranthir met both her real and her sort-of parents. Meeting her biological parents was great, they got along splendidly. Meeting hr sort-of parents, Aqun and Roanna, was more stressful simply because Aqun is so picky about who she likes. But it went smoothly all the same.

What was their first fight over and how did they get past it?

It was over something small, when they’d both been tired and stressed from work. After a little time alone the two of them settled down and sorted it out no problem.

Which one is more easily made jealous?

Jioro would be. But neither is too easily jealous since they both know they come first for each other.

What is their favourite thing to get to eat?

Anything that’s a big meal they can split~

Who’s the cuddly one? What their favourite cuddling position?

Laranthir is! He loves when Jioro holds him since he only comes up to her stomach.

Are they hand holders?

They definitely are.

How long do they wait before sleeping together for the first time? What’s the circumstances?

It’s a good month or so before they do, Jioro moves slow. One night after dinner Laranthir asks her to spend the night and she agrees.

Who does the shopping and the cooking?

Laranthir does the shopping and they both cook!

Which one is more organized and prone to tidiness?

Laranthir is by a landslide (which is what Jioro’s workshop looks like it’s been through)

Who proposes?

Years down the line Laranthir would, and Jioro would say yes.

Do they have joined Bachelor/Bacheloette parties or separate?

Jioro wouldn’t have a bachelorette party but Laranthir would have a small bachelor party.

Who is the best man/maid of honour? Any other groomsmen or bridesmaids?

Aqun and Roanna would be Hioro’s maids of honour. Laranthir would have his closest friends on his side (who idk yet oops)

Big Ceremony or Small?

Do they have a honeymoon? If so, where?  

The two would take a vacation to a nice secluded location in the mountains for a week or so.

Do they have children? How many?

No children, Jioro doesn’t want any!

6. What do they look like?

She’s rather short for a norn, looking more like a very tall human save for the tattoos.

32. Do they get stressed out easily?

When alone, not at all. She’s patient and rational and very on-task despite any setbacks or incidents.

When around lots of other people, she’s already stressed. Social anxiety will do that when you’re used to living in a very isolated location.

48. What does their room look like?

So incredibly messy, only she knows where anything is in the piles of watchwork machinery and tools. Caution walking in, lest you step on something that stabs your foot. Even when Laranthir is over, the two rarely hang out inside her house because it’s just too unwieldy for guests to walk through.

53. What is something that they want but can’t have?

Sh’d give anything to have gotten to talk to Scarlet, find out the intricacies of her engineering skills. If only she’d survived her loss to Aqun...

85. Do they like to cook?

As much as the next person, but she keeps her meals short and simple to save time for research

“Excuse me, Jioro?”

She jolted up from the steam creature she’d been digging through for parts, unaware she’d have any attention this far up the mountains. In fact, she’d intended to be left alone. That’s why she’d just joined the Vigil, they promised her a grant to further study the steam creatures in an isolated location. “...can I help you?”

The sylvari standing in front of her was short, even by their standards, but stood with the stature of a soldier confident in his skills. “My name is Laranthir. I’ve been sent here to check on you and see how your research is beginning. Don’t worry, I’ll be out of your hair soon.” He reached a hand out to shake hers.

She briefly wipes her hands on her coat, layers of oil and grease smearing around as she hopes it’s not too rude to return the offer with a still dirty hand. “I’ll show you to the workshop,” she clasps her hand in his and gives it a firm shake before turning to walk, “it’s just up this way.”

“Wonderful!” The green sylvari seems unfazed by the grease that had likely smeared onto his own hand, simply quietly nodding at her to lead the way. Maybe this wouldn’t be the worst meeting.
