park liked to think that social skills were one thing that he had plently of. after all, there was a reason why he had ended up becoming the leader of meta. he surely had some sort of charm, most likely carried over from his younger days where he spent hours on end greeting people at his father's church. if anything, it taught him how to smile pretty and carry on a conversation about the most trivial of things, not matter how much he hated it. usually, park held himself together well enough. but there was something about the boy who was standing across the room that had every ounce of common sense in parks head flying out the window faster than he could blink. the pair had crossed paths before, never officially meeting. but park had seen his face more than enough times to be fully convinced that soohyun had to have been one of god's favourites to end up with a face that beautiful.
usually their passings were quick. paths crossed back stage at music shows and nothing more than that. but this time was different. there were no obligations that were going to carry either of them away and they were meant to be enjoying themselves. perhaps it was the best time to strike up a conversation. finally offering an introduction to the boy that so often caught his eye.
wandering across the room, park approached soohyun trying to look as cool as collected as he possibly could. he smiled, offering one of the glasses of punch that he held tightly in his hand. "hey. care for a drink?" he bit the inside of his cheek, watching soohyun in anticipation.

moonsik wasn’t sure if he had ever actually experienced love. he surely hadn’t before he left home. there was something about haneul that might be close to it. but the second that moonsik laid eyes on the dark haired boy, he was convinced that this must be everything that love feels like and maybe even more.
even though his heart skipped a beat every time they so much as glanced in the same direction, it took ages for moonsik to gather the courage to approach soohyun. there was a little voice in his head that held him back every time he tried, convincing him that there was no way that somebody like kim soohyun would ever want something to do with a nobody like him.
the pair had been training together for some time when han finally convinced moonsik to approach soohyun, inviting him to leave his solitude to spend time with the duo that seemed to be connected at the hip.
never in a million years did moonsik imagine that it would turn into anything more than that. but god, was he glad that he knew what it felt like to love kim soohyun.
tapping quietly on the doorframe, he let himself into the younger boys room, instantly going to crawl into the small twin-sized bed along with him. “kimsoo?” he murmered, curling up on his side to admire the pretty features of soohyun’s face.

Jaein wondered if his manager had proposed the idea of assigned seating to spite him. It was a private event after all, but the members were forced to sit next to each other while the performances were ongoing. He spent most of his week with the members so any chance that he could interact with his friends, especially the ones from Wishbone Records was a rare chance that he would not be willing to pass up. Someone should have known he would turn the seating arrangement into a challenge, playing musical chairs and mingling with his other friends before he had to return to his table after the short intermission.
He finds his seat next to ( @wssoohyun ), opting to stand while the rest of the members found their way back to their table. “Hyung.” He utters in a melodic tone, draping himself over the older man without warning. He embraces one of his shoulders, resting his chin gently over the other. “I’m looking forward to Arcana’s performance. I overheard them saying that they will be performing to ‘90s Love.’”
“Are you enjoying yourself?” He had completely lost track of time and barely glanced at the members around them room when he was playing bartender. It wasn’t until he was tapped on the shoulder by their Junior Manager that he became aware of his surroundings once again. He hadn’t had this much fun in awhile. He made a mental note of thanking the staff whenever the chance arose in the future. “Do you want to go outside in a few? The sun is about to set.”

sat in his entirely too uncomfortable office chair, han realized that the setup in front of him felt foreign. it had been a long time since he’d sat in a studio on his own, making music that was entirely his. there was an undeniable pressure in his current position — yurim had trusted him with her song, and he refused to fail her, or himself.
in the unfamiliar surrounding, he found solace in soohyun. his reappearance in han’s life had been unexpected but welcomed, his familiarity a breath of fresh air within all the uncertainty the leader was feeling recently. between his injury and his reentry into the studio, he barely felt like himself, and soohyun helped immensely.
after their first friendly encounter in years, han had invited the other to join him once again, just the two of them. he told himself the nervousness he felt was because of how long the pair had gone without speaking, and absolutely nothing else. there was nothing else there, as far as his brain was concerned.
hearing a knock on the door, han jumped before leaping to his feet, opening the door with maybe a bit too much vigor. “ah, soohyun-ssi! i’m glad you’re here.” he smiled, warmth creeping up his cheeks as he moved to let the other in. suddenly unsure of himself, he stood helplessly near the closed door, hands going into his hoodie pockets out of habit.
“you can take my chair, it’s more comfortable than the other one.” he explained, pointing to the big chair as he spoke. “i’ll be more comfortable knowing you’re comfortable.”
