Summer Sleepover Event Wrap-Up

Fly with ya, fairies!

This June, we celebrated the arrival of Summer with a super-special sleepover! What made it special you ask? The celebration was not only on our Discord server but in-game as well!✨

We met up in Palm Tree Cove where pixies showed up wearing their coziest pixie-pajamas for a laughter-filled night 🌕🌠

With a fashion show, games, silly sweets, and even an impromptu movie night, we had a flitterific time and many heart-to-hearts with every pixie at the Cove!🌴

On our Discord server, we asked pixies to create some fairy-sized sleepover gear perfect for when you're about to rest your wings.

Ruthi Batash's pixies - Hyacinth, Tulip and Hale - are all snuggled up for a story in their comfy yet fashionable pajamas!

Meanwhile, beetlemeow's fairies look relaxed as they wind down on their freshly harvested mushroom couch 🍄

And how could we leave out our animal friends? Cranberry Frozenweather made cozy outfits for them to make sure they remain snug as a bug!

Fairies also love making shadows, but unlike us, they use light from fireflies as drawn by Glarefall 🔦

We love this cute animal toy @neverfaerie created which will definitely be popular among animal talents 🐿️🍃

Who doesn't like bean bags? Daphne Moonflower made a rabbit bean bag which is soft and sure to bring peaceful dreams ☁️💤

FairyABC is a fan-made revival of Disney's virtual online world, Pixie Hollow. It was created publicly using downloads and information available to the general public. It also has a forum feature that was not part of the original Pixie Hollow, allowing users to post and create their own profiles. It currently has over 58,000 users. We The Pixies is a rewrite-in-progress of Pixie Hollow Online (aka Pixie Hollow), Disney’s classic MMORPG that ran from 2008 to 2013. Our demo currently includes a faithful recreation of the original Create A Fairy, a clothing store, and the Bubble Bounce talent game, as well as Dewdrop Vale and even basic fairy homes and decorating!

Every year, the nature fairies prepare for weeks for the Changing of the Leaves - the time in autumn when all the leaves turn to red and orange and fall from their branches🍂 As the fairies take to the skies, ready to make their way to the Mainland, they leave behind dozens of colorful leaves used for practice.

It seemed like such a shame for them to all go to waste...so we asked the pixies in our Discord server to create some fairy-sized clothing using fallen leaves, petals or other plants!

Opal Glitterstone designed an autumn get-up for her fairy incorporating a fire opal brooch and mushroom skirt!🍄

Veniea's autumnal outing outfit will make you feel cozy and stylish and that acorn handbag is to-fly-for👜

Looking for something less casual? Nightshade Dazzlemoon's ballgown created using real leaves is just the right pick for you!

This flaptastic design by @/hannanimations (on Instagram) is called "Sumac Chic" and is fiery, chic and perfect to get you ready to greet the season in style.

If oranges, reds and browns aren't your colours but you still want to look ready for fall, then look no further than this water fairy themed fall outfit created by miachimochi.

The Mauve Maple outfit designed by @beetlemeowmeow captures the essence of a red maple tree by using its leaves for the dress, seed pods for the shrug and boots and flowers for the hat🍁

We absolutely need to have Minerva Foxhorn's fall fashions inspired by fall pine, mushroom and acorn available at Summit Style in Acorn Summit!🌲🍄🐿️

This autumn look by AzureViolet is simply fall-tastic! The top is made from two maple leaves with the stems wrapped around as a belt, and the sleeves and leggings are made from bark.

This event wouldn't have been complete without a flitterific autumn outfit for sparrowmen just like this one designed by Ruthi Batash along with one for fairies.

This beautiful dress by Sunrise has got Tinker Bell's stamp of approval!

You can't tell us that this gown by drawing_dreamzzz wouldn't be perfect for Rosetta! It'd make any fairy look as royal as a rose🌹

🌸 Prepare to dazzle Neverland with your flitterific creations inspired by the enchanting world of Pixie Hollow and the coming of Spring. Whether you draw inspiration from the delicate hues of the changing of the season 🍃, the beautiful textures of nature 🌿, or your very own special talent 🫧 – let your imagination take flight! 🌸

How to Enter:

1. Fly on over to https://www.wethepixies.net/ 🧚‍♀️ 2. Using clothing from the create-a-fairy process and/or Brook’s Basics, create a unique new outfit! 👑 3. Take a screenshot of your pixie or sparrowman in your leaf journal modelling your new look. 🕺 4. We're excited to announce that the official Summer Garden Tea Party Recipe Book is ready to read on our Discord server! Inside are 24 flitterific recipes for teas, sweets, and much more!

We celebrated the Fairy Friendship Festival on our Discord server and in the  spirit of friendship, asked our server members to create friendship bracelets for their pixie pals! 

@/junewestfieldmusic on Instagram made a grassblade green bracelet inspired by the first Tinkerbell film.

Ali Firelily made some flitterific bracelets for fairies and sparrowmen along with a bracelet made from broken washed up shells on the beach - a true tinker talent!

Using silver, freshwater pearls, and a baby living sand dollar @/beck_bonebinary on Instagram has created this bracelet for their fellow water talents.

We are loving these animal talent, water talent and Neverland themed options made by @neverfaerie​!

Daphne Moonflower has made a chunky bracelet with mushroom white, daisy pink and pumpkin orange beads to celebrate her garden talent fairy friends.

A pixie in our server has created this colourful bracelet for the heart-filled fairy festival which will suit all talents.

We are tickled pink to see so many gorgeous jewellery because what would a Fairy Friendship Festival be without friendship bracelets to wear with your buddies?

Queen Clarion has announced that the Pixie Hollow Games will be taking place this year, and the Hollow is abuzz with the preparations! To change things up, the council has decided to add some new sports to the roster this year, but they need help…

@/artistmania99 on Instagram has come up with a pixie sport that is a combination of hockey or croquet. The fast-flying talents are sure to love this one!

This one is for the romantics! Bubblebee introduces the concept of Moonlight Ballroom Dancing as a sport.

Flit over to our Discord server to read the short story written by Octavia Nightjewel about this sport and a budding romance that will flutter your heart!

@/sydneyweber724 on Instagram got fairy inspired by the winter fairies and came up with Flight Skating. When it comes to this sport, Fairy Mary would surely leave all her competitors in the pixie dust.

Next up, we have Twin Tug created by @/verypropercat on Instagram which is a Pixie Hollow rendition of tug of war but a big rule includes no flying. (yeah, I’m looking at you fast flyers!)

Paying homage to our latest released meadow, Neverberry Thicket, @neverfaerie​ presents a game that is a paintball and dodge ball crossover, Berry Ball!

Lastly, we have another mainland-inspired sport - Fairy Badminton - created by Cranberry Frozenweather.

We hope you enjoyed all the fairy creative sport ideas that our Discord members shared. We are certain that this year’s Pixie Hollow Games is going to be one for the books!

Never Dove Egg Hunt

The Never Dove Egg Hunt is an annual tradition in Pixie Hollow, and Ci the frog was excited to celebrate it with her new fairy friends! She had painted several eggs to use in the scavenger hunt, but on her way to Springtime Orchard she tripped and lost some of the eggs downstream! All the fairies are eagerly waiting to see what Ci has painted. Can you help Ci find the lost eggs?

We wrapped up yet another flitterific event on the We The Pixies Discord server for the month of June. We invited all pixies on the server to create their own fairy-sized furniture inspired by Pixie Hollow and here are some of the tinker-tastic designs we got that Lizzy would be proud of….

A fruity Pin Cushion Bed designed by Gwyn (@sydneyweber724 on Instagram).

A fairy-sized dining set made out of mushrooms created by MeguminCosplay (@megumincosplay on Instagram)!

Ali Neverflame (@rosekki​) designed a soft cotton ball bunny plushie which can also be used as a beanbag to sit on by a fairy!

A bed and a pillow made with flower petals along with a rug by Daphne Moonflower for a good night’s sleep!

More flower power with an umbrella made by Octavia Nightjewel.

Some flaptastic fairy furniture designs by Cranberry Frozenweather (toadette#1887)!

A stunning 3D flower petal lamp made with vines and an acorn cap for the base by Winnie Sweettoad (@yamart21)!

Lastly, paying tribute to the Pixie Hollow Games, Jasper Ice designed the main talent tables.

We absolutely loved seeing the pixies in our server get creative for this event!! Tinker talent or not - all of them came up with amazing furniture designs that all fairies of Pixie Hollow would love to add to their homes!

This year, we brought back Sweet September but with a little pixie-twist to sweeten things up a bit! We challenged our pixie pals to recreate some of the sweet treats from Harmony’s Sweet Shop along with creating a fairy themed drink.

The baking talents in our server whipped up some pixie-licious desserts and drinks some of which are an exact replica of one of the treats from the game and some are original creations inspired by them.

Here are some of the fairy delicious creations that we were allowed to share with everyone here:

Some calming Chamomile Tea made by Marigold MoonMoon.

Cereal Milk, one of our baking talents, made Acorn cookies, Raspberry cookies, Blueberry Cookies, Sunflower Cupcakes, a Raspberry Cupcake and a Blackberry Silly Sweet. All these sweet treats look absolutely to-fly-for!

Cranberry Frozenweather created a chocoholic’s version of a Honey Maple Double Truffle Cookie and a creamy fairy drink.

Vanilla cake and some lavender milk prepared by Octavia Nightjewel is the pixie-perfect pick for garden talents!

Bright Rainbow Silly Sweets along with some relaxing Chamomile Tea made by Daphne Moonflower is recommended by the light talents in Sunflower Gully.

We would love to enjoy some Magic Tea Cake, S’more, and Mouse milk at the Tearoom made by Daphne Sugarwillow!

Rose Morningmist has made a berry-licious chocolate cheesecake and some creamy caramel hot chocolate perfect for tea parties in your fairy gardens or to enjoy while staying inside your cozy fairy homes.

One of our favorite events yet is wrapping up in our Discord server, and we decided to share just some of the flitterific submissions we received!!

From our favorite duo and Lyssa, this one is simply the pixie's knees.

This valentine by Daphne Nightvale truly shines.

This one by Bayberry Copperwish makes us feel all fuzzy inside!

We Silver-mist being able to celebrate Fairy Friendship Festival! Daphne Moonflower's card brightened us right up!
