“halsin’s too boring” “wyll’s too nice” “where’s the drama” as if this ship doesn’t have one of the most complicated real-life-relationship struggles at the heart of it:

what do you do when your partner wants a different relationship than what you want?

wyll wants a fairytale romance where you have sex after (agreeing to) marriage and you stay devoted to one person for life. halsin wants to roam and share the fun of having sex with his partners, not necessarily be “tied down.”

if they love each other, that is absolutely going to come into conflict. they are going to have to negotiate, they are going to have to compromise. they will miscommunicate along the way, they will hurt each other.

this is an incredibly difficult thing to write while staying true to both characters. (i.e., i personally think it’s a copout to have halsin become entirely monogamous with someone like he was just “waiting for the right person.”)

the potential for angst is absolutely there, and the possible resolutions are endless.

shadowzel (shadowheart/lae'zel). they are my favorite !!! love a good enemies to lovers

wyllstarion (wyll/astarion). monster hunter x "monster" dynamic which im obsessed with. they have the potential to either make each other worse or better and it's really interesting to see it play out either way

bladeweave (wyll/gale). they would be the sweetest, most romantic and loving couple ever,, i just know it. they'd dance all the time at camp and say so many cheesy lines to each other both in camp and while traveling that all the party members would get annoyed pretty quickly lol

idk their ship name but karlach/gale ! both have been doomed to die by something that has invaded their bodies (the orb and karlach's infernal engine) and i feel like they would be just a really nice couple. they are so fucking underrated omg. if there isn't one already, i feel like infernalweave or something would be a good ship name for them :P

again idk the ship name but karlach/minthara. i saw some clips of the end dialogue (after brain, before epilogue) of karlach origin with the minthara romance and oooh it was so good. i literally put my karlach run on hold just so i can romance minthara (whenever thats fixed lmfao)

wyllsin (wyll/halsin). again, just a really sweet couple. can you tell i love wyll? lol. he deserves all the love in the world <3

and finally, karlach/lae'zel/shadowheart. they are poly and in love !!!!! and no i will not be taking any criticism on this, just trust me. i think that karlach and shadowheart would probably start dating and then shadowheart and lae'zel would have their enemies to lovers thing, to which karlach suggests lae'zel join their relationship. i think they are all in love with each other 🙏

I honestly just think he'd be really good at playing the part of the "innocent shy reserved man who does a complete 180 after being exposed to pure unbridled sexuality"; we all know he's not actually like that it's fully an act because he knows he has the looks of a tired english professor but the soul of a whore I just- you don't know how badly I need to see him doing a slightly desperate unhinged strip tease on stage on a garrish four poster bed OKAY ?!?!

Halsin - "Toxic Love" from Ferngully

I need him in his pretend villain era, I think he'd be cartoony like if he's gonna work a stage he's gonna werk a stage m'kay; he is actually using this performance to raise awareness about the climate crisis and donate the money he makes towards more accessible clean energy and environmental conservation efforts and would love to provide more info and resources while still in his g-string to all interested parties in the lobby of the venue

Astarion as Dr. Frank N. Furter, Halsin as Rocky; tbh this is just so Astarion can show off the "bounty of nature's gifts" that have been bestowed upon him and Halsin just finds how this twink is climbing him and swinging on his outstretched arm like a jungle gym too amusing to not participate
