Honestly, twst is at the peak of its popularity right now. They recently overshot apple music in terms of profits due to book 7 💀💀 so I don't think they'll be stopping any time soon. I can definitely see twst going on for 10 years or more!!

There's still a lot more things to explore like the 4th years!! So many unutilied charcaters to be twisted!! INTERNSHIPS!!! Not to mention, some of the characters have canonically aged up by end of book 7, so we can potentially have new freshies coming in too!! And that's just the NRC side ❤️❤️

There's so much to explore with RSA counterparts, like their dorms, the school, and their potential dormleaders or even their teachers!!!

Twst is a VERYY big thing in Japan, so dont worry broski, twst is gonna be safe for a very very long time

My Yuu looks pretty simple compared to the other Yuusonas I have seen in this fandom, they're all so pretty and cool omg, their backgrounds are all so interesting too!!

My Yuu has slightly shorter hair, with fucked bangs covering one eye, and green/yellowish eyes

My Yuu doesn't have any character sheet since I literally made 'em up on the spot for the first work mentioned 😭😭 I just kept reusing this 'Yuu' for all my works. So there's no tragic backstory tm or any backstory at all at the moment.

I do have a proper OC that is not yuu, but I'm trying to clear some backlog of ideas before redrawing and re-debuting him out since my art style has changed quite a bit since I last drew my OC

There are some angsts scenarios that I have, but primarily for Yuu's mental breakdown

In the recent books, you see Yuu being less secure and mentally strong when having to go against the overblots, feeling more hopeless and such.

"I never asked to be a hero, I never wanted this to happen... I want to go home.. Please, won't you let me go home.."

Yuu never wanted this role.

Magicless. 7 overblots.

The students. They talk. And they talk a lot.

7 overblots, the same time a magicless transfer shows up, surely they... no... but it makes sense, doesn't it?

It eats away at Yuu. Never ending, always in the back of the mind. Do they think the same? Does Ace and Deuce think they're a burden, too? What about Jack? Epel, Ortho and Sebek? They aren't like the rest. But what if they are?

It eats away at Yuu.

Returning home...

"Do you regret it?"

"It's for the best."

Yuu reasons. It's for the best, yet it's such a painful choice. The other choice is painful, too. It is to hurt fewer people or hurt himself less.

It kinda ties in nicely with the other conflict of having to leave the friends made in twst for the home they desperately yearned for since the start.

I might consider drawing it one day, but it'll prob be another short series, and it'll be very self-indulgent since it centres more around Yuu's breakdown than the other characters.

You know he has every right to be pissed. Love you art! Never expected him to start crying omg, it's a new look (don't stop)

It's a little hard to tell from the comics, but yuu left before then! Then some time has passed.

The coloured panels are supposed to represent Ace's bday during the day where he's celebrating with his seniors and friends. Where the last thing on his mind is yuu's departure.

However, Yuu actually had scheduled a msg for the last 5 mins of his birthday before he had left so that Ace could enjoy most of his birthday without being reminded of him.

While Yuu could have chosen not to schedule this message, it's the selfishness of an NRC student in him that makes him decide to do so. Ace is still a close friend, after all. Even if he may or may not agree with Yuu's leaving. And perhaps, he wishes for someone to remember his existence.

AND SO the greyed out panel is during the last 5 mins of his birthday where he rushes to the mirror. To officially make his wish there.
