Marble hornets x Slendermansion AU but instead of Hoodie and Masky being proxies they also live in a small cabin in the same woods and are constantly trying to sabotage the creeps plans. Stitches and Sentences

This was a loooong week. I made almost no progress on my own things because every day was spent at AP teacher training and the evenings I spent wrangling Littlest Bon so she didn't spend the *whole* night in front of the TV. Why? She discovered K-Pop Demon Hunters and is obsessed. (Predictable side effect? I now know all the lyrics to the songs, and y'all, some of them are bangers.)

STITCHES I don't know if you know, but more than a footnote's final chapter went up on Friday, and I used that as an excuse to transform into a one-woman PR machine for @mooncello this week. Doll promo posts are really so fun to do, especially when they involve props and settings. It takes a while to get the perfect shot. Here is the behind-the-scenes of the second promo I posted this past week.

While all the dolls in all these pictures are my same DeNiall dolls from COC, all the outfits are new. It was fun imagining them in different scenarios now that they are off in the world and building a life together.

From the moment footnote started posting, I was sold. Who doesn't love Dev and Niall getting into shenanigans to set up Baz and Simon? Yet, as the chapters kept coming, I realized this fic was so much more than a get-together fic. (I know Heath did, too.) To say this is one of the most beautiful stories I have ever read is an understatement. I have experienced the full range of human emotions along with Dev and Niall. Why? Because it is a love story, but it is also a friendship story, and the prose that brings this world to life is so gorgeous I could eat it with a spoon.

Anyway, is this really a Heath appreciation post disguised as a personal update? Yes. Why? Because it's what Heath deserves.

Heath, months ago you reached out and I told you Dev and Niall deserve an ending. Well my friend, you gave them an even better one than any of us could have ever imagined, especially Dev and Niall.

it kind of destroys me that kim is the one who's more outwardly affected by chuck's death than jimmy. and it's not because she cared about him more than his own brother did, chuck was never much more to her than her boss (and her partner's brother who was pretty rude to both of them). i'm sure she is sad that he's dead, but she's not really grieving that as much as she's grieving the way jimmy is so clearly in pain but won't allow himself to express it or even admit to it. not even to himself. when she breaks down crying as jimmy reads chuck's letter, it's not about the letter itself. it's the absolute lack of emotion jimmy displays as he reads it. the total disregard for his brother's last words to him. she's breaking down because she's realizing how broken he is in a way that can't be fixed. because he won't even try. won't even admit there's something wrong. and it's not like she's ever viewed him as something to be fixed, like so many others have, she just desperately wants to help him be okay. because she loves him. but she can't.

and then at his reinstatement hearing, she cries again, but this time because he does sound sincere, and genuine. she thinks, here he is. he's finally letting himself grieve. he's finally letting himself move on, by acknowledging the past and the hurt instead of ignoring it. here he is. he's himself again. but then he reveals it was all a performance. he has never been less himself. he's changing his name even. running again, from his past, from himself, from chuck. and he reveals that he thinks of her as a sucker for falling for any of it.

Got into Witch Hat Atelier last year sometime and yesterday finally got around to drawing Qifrey. And we've got some pictures of Coco too :D

(I'd forgotten my pencil so this was just inked straight without sketching first which is not what I typically do, but I don't think it went tooooooo badly...)

My favourite is definitely the top right one of Qifrey. I was using the manga for reference (hanging out at the public library with a friend so there were books right there), and I really like how it turned out tbh.
