I tried adding Kat from memory to my (wip) ygo world revamp and she's been great so far XD

She had four near death experiences, she got into three fist fights with Yami Bakura (none of which were the cause for her many near deaths), she mocked Malik, and then she flirted with him only to walk away and completely ignore him until he left, she got into a fist fight with tkb but I think they're friends now(?) and after that, she proceeded to go up to the only other oc on the lot and take selfies with her for the remainder of the get-together. It was great, Kat is truly a role model and an icon, she is sleeping on the floor rn because she couldn't make it to bed XD

If it isn't obvious, I'm currently drowning in the Sims 4 juice. I've avoided the atrocious bugged out game for over a year because my massive legacy game file has been corrupted by the endless bugs that EA refuses to fix... Since I've mourned the loss of that save and removed any crazy game related script mods, I've been making Sims & building houses. Which is all I do I want to do with the game anyways since the actual game matter is unplayable. 🤷‍♀️

Anyways! Here are my current projects ~

I've made most of Aster's family. Here is her father, because he's gorgeous and I wish for him to scold me with love. I did make her mother & brother as well.

The next big thing is;

KAIBA BRO MANSION

Many people don't know, that I am a firm believer the Kaiba bro mansion DOES exist and it goes by the name of -

✨Lynnwood Hall✨

Lynnwood Hall is one of the last Guilded Age mansions to be built in the US, finishing around the year of 1899, owned by a very wealthy man, Peter A.B Widener, who was an illustrious man who appreciated the arts and had a strong love for his family.

The front facade of Lynnwood Hall is almost IDENTICAL to the facades we see in the anime/manga. So! For the last year and 6 months, I've been building this mansion & decorating it fully to fit the Kaiba bros!

As a side note, since we don't really see the inside of the mansion during the anime/manga. Well, not in a way that I can figure out what rooms are what and where they go, I am quite literally using the REAL floor plans of Lynnwood Hall to capture what I believe would be the correct layout of the house. That way, every room has a purpose (somewhat) and I'm able to tickle that sweet sweet love of mine which is; ✨Neo-Classical Interior Design✨

Another fun fact, is that if you look at the Lynnwood floor plans, this mansion has a FUCK TON OF BEDROOMS! So many, I don't know what to do with them! 😂 So, I decided to take my friend's YGO OC's and decorate the extra bedrooms in their OC's likeness to fill in the empty spaces that I wouldn't know what to do otherwise. I'm actually super excited to finish this house and have it be full and cluttered, like Mokuba and Seto actually LIVE there. I might export it and allow people to use it themselves, but... So far it's a 1.3 million simoleons, full of CC... so I'm still thinking about it. 😅

Pharaoh Atem's Earrings from YuGiOh

A Realistic Render

This is an update for @little-missvee who is trying to create Atem for the Sims 3 which she mentions in her post. I've started creating Pharaoh Atem's earrings. I'm 40 hours into the project right now.

So far, I've made the max quality version you see here rendered on the Sims 4 body in Blender Cycles. I've modeled the design after a cover image from the manga and added lapis lazuli and carnelian inlays.

It is quite beautiful, but with 11,736 vertices and 23,416 triangles, it will definitely crash your game.

From here, the work is to bring that number down into game-friendly range while keeping as much quality as possible. Since I'm working from high to low poly, I'll probably complete a version for the Sims 4 first as I'm closer to that benchmark. The Sims 3 version will require different decimation techniques, which I can apply next.

By the way, if anyone is interested in seeing tutorials for creating custom content, let me know in the comments. That is a direction I am considering, but I'd like to know what you think. I am also entertaining the idea of taking commissions.

For my visual novel project I'm starting with something really small to test it out. It will be a very short original wlw story.

I have to admit Ren Py is a bit intimidating since it's all coding, but I'll give it a try! If it's too much for me, my 2nd option is tyranobuilder.

Okay, here's that comparison. I'm warning you though, I made these cornflakes on like my second or third day of Simming and did *not* know how to use the sliders. Or the presets. 😬 I didn't even use "play with genetics" when I created Serenity! (Using CC definitely helped, but I think I could make some pretty good CC-free versions if I tried. 🤔)

2019 vs. 2025 (and I just realised that it's been exactly 6 years since I created them! 🤯)

Next up is going to Ryuji Otogi (I actually prefer this name over Duke Devlin)

He was super hard to make bc of his hair, and imo he kinda came out looking like a young Michael Jackson lol. His everyday outfit was hard to replicate, and I never went CC hunting to try and find a dice earring, so I just stuck with vibes based on what I already had.

Quick edit to add this little interaction with Mai where you get to see a bit of his genderfluid wardrobe (I really contemplated changing his pronouns to they/them, but stuck with the he/him for the time being. Might change it later in the game when I start playing with the households a bit more)
