Countdown to Halloween Day 17- Arachnus

Day 17 gives the general of the Bony Spirits Faction, Arachnus!

NGL, for a spider guy, he looks genuinely handsome- especially that smile!

And when I say he’d love jumping spiders… he does!!

if it was based on doughnut preference, i’d probably have to go bony, but in terms of the yokai on each side, i much prefer fleshy. toadal dude is one of my favourite yokai and i love kyubi’s design

as for blasters teams…

gotta be white dog squad. i mean, i have a white dog irl, and komasan is adorable. plus the squid. definitely got nothing to do with the fact that whisper’s an exclusive on that side nahhh not at all

Youkai Butler Whisper’s Theme ~Serious Edition~ (Yo-Kai Watch 2 [2014])

Such a Classical-sounding Violin at the center of this track! This one’s got a somber vibe because of the melody alone. Given the “spook” noises at the beginning, it seems to depict Whisper as a lone ghost who lacks a significant purpose. I liked the melody of Whisper's theme from the 1st game, but the overload of cartoony noises prevented me from enjoying it, so it’s great to see what I consider a glow-up for the sequel, even though this version still isn’t considered the “main” one in comparison to the earlier one that’s still used in Yo-Kai Watch 2 as well

Oh so I’ll probably not be able to get three of the -nyans in Yokai Watch 2 because two are digital download version only and another one is broken indefinitely due to the update no problem there’s lots of others to get haha

Hi, I just found out that two day is the 10th anniversary of Yokai watch 2 bony spirits/fleshy souls coming out in Japan so here have this :D. (I drew this as a request someone gave me before finding out this information lmao)

Yeah I'm a Yokai watch fan but specifically the Yokai watch 2 bony spirits 3DS game

Don't ask me about any other games or series or whatnot bc I'm clueless but I've spent almost 250 hours of my life on that damn game and counting.

Also I love having the most shit team and trying to win with my favourites (virtually impossible) (not a single healer and these yokais are shit)

Yokai Watch 2 is such a weird conundrum because it’s better than the first game, but Bony Spirits & Fleshy Souls are the inferior versions compared to Physic Specters, because of all the stuff it adds, buts it’s also worse because there’s a lot of stuff it removes because for some reason there’s no content exclusive stuff from the other two versions. So the inferior versions are worse because it doesn’t have all the new and cool stuff from the superior version, but the superior version is also missing a bunch of stuff so no matter which version you play you’re getting a not compete version of the game.

Anyways 1 & 3 are complete packages but 1 isn’t as good as 2 and 3 is a game I like but isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, so I guess we’re stuck choosing between inferior but superior and superior but inferior for the best yokai watch game.

Of course I can answer these for ya!! My favorite season is the first one, mainly because of the nostalgia I feel because of it-

I have played the games!! Almost all of them [haven't played Busters 2 or YKW4 or the Y Academy game] I adore YKW3 the most due to all the content it has to offer and there's just so much to do!!!

Fleshy soul. Reason? Kyubi for life he's my boy B) for a favorite yokai that's a hard question but if I had to pick just one it'd be Komashura!!

yeah my favorite games ever are the Persona franchise, Yokai Watch (mainly Yokai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Fleshy Souls), Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and Deus Ex (and Deus Ex: Human Revolution). I also thought Saints Row 4 was pretty fun and had way more personality than GTA ever did, but it reminds me of my ex, so I don’t really include that one 🤫

And ofc Animal Crossing: New Leaf is one of my fave games ever too.

Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters has an odd glitch that makes it impossible to get 100%. The music app is supposed to unlock more songs once you listen to them or meet other conditions; however, in Psychic Specters, this isn't the case, and you're stuck with the ten songs unlocked initially. This glitch has never been patched.
