Yoonmi enveloped herself in Chan's hug, basking in his warmth. The comfort would be gone for a while since they'd both be busy soon. Her with a comeback and him with a tour. Her brother chuckled while parting her head.

"You know," he began, "Yoongi hyung said we have to get you home soon, right? You're pushing it by staying out even after the family's gone back."

"I know," she mumbled. The day was well-spent with her family, especially since it was the first time in over two years that she was able to see most of them in real life again. She was tired, but she was comfortable. "Can't I just sleep here? Then we can call Felix oppa and have an Australian sleepover."

He chuckled at that. "You're not Australian."

"I might as well be, since my family is Australian."

"You are somewhat developing the accent..."

The two of them laughed at that. It was no secret that, when talking to her Chan, Felix, and the rest of her family, she'd end up speaking with a more Australian accent. The first time it happened, she panicked and immediately called her biological brother to 'get her geordie accent back'.

The two were wrapped in silence for a while, Chan tapping a light rhythm into her back while she just laid there. It was a common occurrence before either of them have overseas schedules for over a week. Even with Yoonsung. She would sit in their comfort for a long time just to imprint their sense of comfort in her mind. She loved her brothers to bits.

"Hey," Chan chuckled, "we're not leaving until next month, Little One. And shouldn't you say bye to Jeongin, too?"

"The 01z are going out tomorrow," she laughed. "And I know. we're both gonna be quite busy, though. So can I please sleepover?"

Before she could say anything, a loud "Yeah you can!" was yelled behind her, followed by a weight jumping on top of her and her brother.

"Felix oppa," she wheezed out while laughing, "can't breathe!"

"You're gonna get cuddles!"

Chan laughed at the two before turning his phone to show them. Yoongi was on screen in a video call.

"She'll be fine with us, hyung," Chan reassured him.

"Alright," Yoongi relented with a fond smile, "Princess, we'll pick you up after lunch tomorrow."

Yoonmi smiled at him. "Love you, oppa!"

"See you tomorrow."

With that, Chan ended the call and gently shoved the two youngers off of him.

"If you two are gonna watch movies again, at least don't connect it to the speakers?"

She met Felix's eyes with a mischievous smile before they turned back to Chan and spoke in sync.

"No promises!"

I can see Army on Twitter reacting to Kibum helping Yoonmi decide what the furniture is going to be like in her apartment. Okay, so I saw those posts about how Baby Army's try to gatekeep Yoonmi, because they don't understand yet her relationships with other people. But have any ever started rumors about Hannah, Mark, Chan, or Shinee, to the point Army's or Yoonmi address it. Or scold those baby Army's.

yeahhhh it was mostly with chan at first during the skz survival show. yoonmi visited chan for the showcase at the beginning, and baby armys at the time didn’t like how close he was to her. there were people threatening to mass email jyp about it and saying that this chan is a “nobody who’s trying to take bangtan’s fame and take yoonmi away from her oppas”

jokes on them, they should have done their researcb first. older armys, even the ones who dont really like yoonmi, all know of chan bc yoonmi used to post some photos with him back when she was younger before her hiatus happened but baby armys were getting so mad about this trainee apparently trying to use her for clout until one day around february of 2018 she got fed up with it (despite chan telling her to leave the situation alone) and went on vlive

after that, older armys always make sure baby armys never reach that point again with any of yoonmi’s friends. this is a video that a lot of kpop twt (not just army twt) uses, actually. it’s a video that got respect from people who didn’t really used to take her seriously

Yoonmi looked up a little bit surprised when she heard her door open. She tilted her head curiously. Her adoptive brother was standing there, closing the door behind himself. It was late January, and she knew that Chan was preparing for debut in March.

“Chris, what are you doing here?”

“I’m worried about you, Little One,” he told her while pulling Jungkook’s desk chair towards her bed for him to sit on.

“What makes you say that?”

“For one, you didn’t hug me when I arrived,” Chan pointed out. “Then there’s the whole thing that happened last month plus the discussions I know you guys have been having with the company. It’s a lot, Little One. Lay it on me.”

“I’m doing fine, Oppa,” she told him. At times like this, she was grateful she knew how to act.

“No, you’re not.” He wiped a stray tear from her cheek that she didn’t even notice. So much for knowing how to act. “Holding everything in doesn’t help, you know.”

Yoonmi fell silent. She thought back to everything she had been feeling the past few months. Everything that she was feeling, she always pushed away with rehearsals or just driving around at night on her motorcycle, which probably wasn’t the best thing to do with a clouded mind.

Chan saw Yoonmi slowly cracking apart. He opened his arms, and she crawled right into them, wrapping her limbs around him and burying her face into his neck. He could feel the hot tears rolling down her cheeks. He placed a light kiss to her head and rubbed her back. She was shaking, and her sobs were slowly getting louder.

“That’s it, Little One,” he whispered to her. “Let it all out. You don’t have to talk about it yet. Crying is good, too.”

Hearing the reassurance made her cry more. She felt like all the weeks she pushed away her tears suddenly overflowed, and she couldn’t stop it. After around thirty minutes, her sobs had turned into little hiccups, and she stayed curled up on top of Chan.

“Sorry,” she told him. “I’m technically 18, so I shouldn’t be squishing you like this.”

“Technically, you’re only 16 back home,” Chan countered with a quiet chuckle. “Besides, you’re my little sister. I don’t care if you’re 8, 18, or 80. I’ll always be here if you need a cuddle.”

Though Chan couldn’t see her, he could feel her smile against his arm and noticed how her hands tighten their grips on his shirt.

“You want to talk about it?”

“Can we have some milk and cookies?”

“I’ll go heat them up, then we talk in five minutes, yeah?”
