The more drawing tutorials I watch the more I understand there's not actually any 'proper' way to draw things, it's literally just 'find something you want to draw, draw it, and then draw it 12,000 more times'

#you watch 15 different tutorials and end up with 73 different ways that are ''correct''#there's always basics and things that can be helpful to learn #but you can pick one thing or one art style to learn and if you practice it over and over and over again #you're going to improve #no matter what. with consistency you will improve #thats it #theres no special way or specific things you have to do beyond that #be consistent do it 1000 times and then do it 2000 more #many more thoughts but i dont feel like typing it all out rn so #yeah
