i’m playing through ultra sun since i want to complete my ultra moon pokedex eventually… since i already played ultra moon just this year, i decided i wanted to do some sort of gimmick for ultra sun instead of just building another team of 6 random pokemon, and i decided i’m going with a monotype dark team! these are the three i have so far

i only just finished the first trial and you may notice that i have an umbreon that shouldn’t be obtainable at this point. when i was playing ultra moon, i didn’t want to use an eeveelution that wasn’t umbreon, but i also didn’t want to use umbreon by the time i got to it because i had zoroark already. i still wanted an eevee for the dex though! …and the first one i ran into was female. i was running an all girls team (and i’m going to be running an all girls team again!) so i felt kind of bad for not using her. i caught her in a luxury ball for the color match with umbreon and figured i’d use her in a future playthrough of some sort. originally i was considering one of the switch games, but using her in ultra sun ended up working out here! i transferred her in the instant i got to the first pokemon center so i basically have two starters

there’s something ironic about using sun to do all dark types but i’m excited about this run!
