# 𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐑𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐅𝐂𝐃𝐃𝐄𝐑. a low stakes, low energy ask blog of several canon characters within the mcyt universe. taking from sources such as ; dsmp , qsmp , trsmp & more. hosted by 𝑑𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑦. ( they/them, 26, usa ) -> follows back from @cancnfcdder.
𝐍𝐀𝐕𝐈𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍; 𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄𝐒. 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎. 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒. 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐂.
-> generalized terms and conditions about this blog.
all characters on my main blog are available here, and while I write lit. and use standard roleplay etiquette there, this blog exists only and primarily as a source to engage in a texting / non lit. fashion with the characters at my disposal.
that being said, heavy / para lit. formatting will likely be deleted, however things formatted in low effort script, i.e "I've been meaning to talk to you..." , will be replied to as normally. feel free to ask whatever, of any character you'd like, however, as this blog is a sort of hub of characters -> please specify muse you're requesting from.
in character asks are fine, so are out of character asks, though please bare in mind that my muses will respond as they see fit to the characters / originals / ooc engaging with them. ( that being said, I welcome all asks as well as spam !! )
18+ engagement is welcome on this blog, however, it will be clipped under cuts and likely will go no further than flirting ( as this is meant to be "texting" or "writing" to said characters. ) minors welcome ( though do not engage or send 18+ asks ).
lastly, which isn't a huge thing, but we're a system, so this blog is low stakes to give sysmates the ability to talk as themselves and from their canons ( though we adhere to most versions, and are open to most interactions; good or bad ).

for
The Solemnity of Corpus Christi
(Liturgical Colour: White) First Reading Exodus 24:3–8 This is the blood of the covenant that the Lord has made with you. When Moses came to the people and related all the words and ordinances of the LORD, they all answered with one voice, “We will do everything that the LORD has told us.” Moses then wrote down all the words of the LORD and, rising early the next day, he erected at the foot of the mountain an altar and twelve pillars for the twelve tribes of Israel. Then, having sent certain young men of the Israelites to offer holocausts and sacrifice young bulls as peace offerings to the LORD, Moses took half of the blood and put it in large bowls; the other half he splashed on the altar. Taking the book of the covenant, he read it aloud to the people, who answered, “All that the LORD has said, we will heed and do.” Then he took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, saying, “This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words of his.” The Word of the Lord R/ Thanks be to God. Responsorial Psalm Psalm 116:12–13, 15–16, 17–18 R/ I will take the cup of salvation, and call on the name of the Lord. or R/ Alleluia. How shall I make a return to the LORD for all the good he has done for me? The cup of salvation I will take up, and I will call upon the name of the LORD. R/ I will take the cup of salvation, and call on the name of the Lord. or R/ Alleluia. Precious in the eyes of the LORD is the death of his faithful ones. I am your servant, the son of your handmaid; you have loosed my bonds. R/ I will take the cup of salvation, and call on the name of the Lord. or R/ Alleluia. To you will I offer sacrifice of thanksgiving, and I will call upon the name of the LORD. My vows to the LORD I will pay in the presence of all his people. R/ I will take the cup of salvation, and call on the name of the Lord. or R/ Alleluia. Second Reading Hebrews 9:11–15 The blood of Christ will cleanse our consciences. Brothers and sisters: When Christ came as high priest of the good things that have come to be, passing through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hands, that is, not belonging to this creation, he entered once for all into the sanctuary, not with the blood of goats and calves but with his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls and the sprinkling of a heifer’s ashes can sanctify those who are defiled so that their flesh is cleansed, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works to worship the living God. For this reason he is mediator of a new covenant: since a death has taken place for deliverance from transgressions under the first covenant, those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance. Gospel Mark 14:12–16, 22–26 This is my body. This is my blood. On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrificed the Passover lamb, Jesus’ disciples said to him, “Where do you want us to go and prepare for you to eat the Passover?” He sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the city and a man will meet you, carrying a jar of water. Follow him. Wherever he enters, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’ Then he will show you a large upper room furnished and ready. Make the preparations for us there.” The disciples then went off, entered the city, and found it just as he had told them; and they prepared the Passover. While they were eating, he took bread, said the blessing, broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, and they all drank from it. He said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed for many. Amen, I say to you, I shall not drink again the fruit of the vine until the day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.” Then, after singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. 23rd June >> Mass Readings (USA)
Solemnity of Corpus Christi
(Liturgical Colour: White)
First Reading
Genesis 14:18–20
Melchizedek brought out bread and wine.
In those days, Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought out bread and wine, and being a priest of God Most High, he blessed Abram with these words:
“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
the creator of heaven and earth;
and blessed be God Most High,
who delivered your foes into your hand.”
Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Responsorial Psalm
Psalm 110:1, 2, 3, 4
R/ You are a priest for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.
The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand
till I make your enemies your footstool.”
R/ You are a priest for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.
The scepter of your power the Lord will stretch forth from Zion:
“Rule in the midst of your enemies.”
R/ You are a priest for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.
“Yours is princely power in the day of your birth, in holy splendor;
before the daystar, like the dew, I have begotten you.”
R/ You are a priest for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.
The Lord has sworn, and he will not repent:
“You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”
R/ You are a priest for ever, in the line of Melchizedek.
Second Reading
1 Corinthians 11:23–26
For as often as you eat and drink, you proclaim the death of the Lord.
Brothers and sisters: I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night he was handed over, took bread, and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, “This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the death of the Lord until he comes.
The Word of the Lord
R/ Thanks be to God.
Sequence
(The Sequence may be said or sung in full, or using the shorter form indicated by the asterisked verses)
Sing forth, O Zion, sweetly sing
The praises of thy Shepherd-King,
In hymns and canticles divine;
Dare all thou canst, thou hast no song
Worthy his praises to prolong,
So far surpassing powers like thine.
Today no theme of common praise
Forms the sweet burden of thy lays –
The living, life-dispensing food –
That food which at the sacred board
Unto the brethren twelve our Lord
His parting legacy bestowed.
Then be the anthem clear and strong,
Thy fullest note, thy sweetest song,
The very music of the breast:
For now shines forth the day sublime
That brings remembrance of the time
When Jesus first his table blessed.
Within our new King’s banquet-hall
They meet to keep the festival
That closed the ancient paschal rite:
The old is by the new replaced;
The substance hath the shadow chased;
And rising day dispels the night.
Christ willed what he himself had done
Should be renewed while time should run,
In memory of his parting hour:
Thus, tutored in his school divine,
We consecrate the bread and wine;
And lo – a Host of saving power.
This faith to Christian men is given –
Bread is made flesh by words from heaven:
Into his blood the wine is turned:
What though it baffles nature’s powers
Of sense and sight? This faith of ours
Proves more than nature e’er discerned.
Concealed beneath the two-fold sign,
Meet symbols of the gifts divine,
There lie the mysteries adored:
The living body is our food;
Our drink the ever-precious blood;
In each, one undivided Lord.
Not he that eateth it divides
The sacred food, which whole abides
Unbroken still, nor knows decay;
Be one, or be a thousand fed,
They eat alike that living bread
Which, still received, ne’er wastes away.
The good, the guilty share therein,
With sure increase of grace or sin,
The ghostly life, or ghostly death:
Death to the guilty; to the good
Immortal life. See how one food
Man’s joy or woe accomplisheth.
We break the Sacrament, but bold
And firm thy faith shall keep its hold,
Deem not the whole doth more enfold
Than in the fractured part resides
Deem not that Christ doth broken lie,
’Tis but the sign that meets the eye,
The hidden deep reality
In all its fullness still abides.
– – – – – –
*Behold the bread of angels, sent
For pilgrims in their banishment,
The bread for God’s true children meant,
That may not unto dogs be given:
Oft in the olden types foreshowed;
In Isaac on the altar bowed,
And in the ancient paschal food,
And in the manna sent from heaven.
*Come then, good shepherd, bread divine,
Still show to us thy mercy sign;
Oh, feed us still, still keep us thine;
So may we see thy glories shine
In fields of immortality;
*O thou, the wisest, mightiest, best,
Our present food, our future rest,
Come, make us each thy chosen guest,
Co-heirs of thine, and comrades blest
With saints whose dwelling is with thee.
Amen. Alleluia)
Gospel Acclamation
John 6:51
Alleluia, alleluia.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven, says the Lord;
whoever eats this bread will live forever.
Alleluia, alleluia.
Gospel
Luke 9:11b–17
They all ate and were satisfied.
Jesus spoke to the crowds about the kingdom of God, and he healed those who needed to be cured. As the day was drawing to a close, the Twelve approached him and said, “Dismiss the crowd so that they can go to the surrounding villages and farms and find lodging and provisions; for we are in a deserted place here.” He said to them, “Give them some food yourselves.” They replied, “Five loaves and two fish are all we have, unless we ourselves go and buy food for all these people.” Now the men there numbered about five thousand. Then he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty.” They did so and made them all sit down. Then taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing over them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd. They all ate and were satisfied. And when the leftover fragments were picked up, they filled twelve wicker baskets.
