I'm Chiyuki Kobayakawa, a Frostheim 3rd year ghoul. Student teacher aid for Professors Dante, Nicolas, Moby, and Hyde.

- Apologies in advance if I come off as "cold" or "uninterested". Two years ago I was cursed with emotional insensibility and have been numb to all similar sentiments.

- Despite this, my stigma allows me to regulate emotions. Please don't hesitate to come to me if you require my help.

And hey, let's kill two birds with one stone and do a little Chiyuki lore dump!!

For those who don't know, Chiyuki is one of my tkdb ocs! She's a 3rd-year Frostheim ghoul with a curse that voids all her emotions. And ironically enough, her stigma allows her to shift emotional energy. Chiyuki enjoys (as much as she can enjoy something) fencing, tutoring others, and hairstyling!

Now for some new Chiyuki facts!!

Chiyuki had a girlfriend during her first and second years at Darkwick- a Jabberwock general student who she loved dearly. Her beloved died during The Clash (which was also around the same time she was cursed!)

Her curse is actually self-inflicted. Unable to bear the grief she felt over her girlfriend's death, Chiyuki took advantage of one of the Ultio anomalies and let it drain her of all emotional feeling.

Before The Clash, Chiyuki was a Clementina ghoul! She was a student counselor of sorts- using her stigma as well as her Clementina practices to help her troubled peers.

Despite wearing gold and silver simultaneously, Chiyuki is quite the fashionista, dressing in a fairy kei style in her free time. She may not be able to feel the joy it brings her but Chiyuki still enjoys it in her own way. and yes, this does contradict with what I said in another post regarding how she wears her uniform!

And last Chiyuki fact that I'll drop... she absolutely loves mochi!!! Once again, in her own special way. She can't exactly feel anything that comes from having a favorite food. How does Chiyuki experience love? Don't ask me. I'm too emotional to try and imagine not feeling emotions.

I love animal symbolism and I love how each tkdb character technically has an animal assigned to them so here are the animal associations for my tkdb ocs!!

Alli - Alli's animal is a rat, though I generally compare her to all types of rodents. I have tons and tons of reasons for giving her the rat, but one of my favorites is the irony of a petite emo girl being a skilled reptile handler. She looks like she could be swallowed whole by her beloved snakes or even her peers- but she is a feisty force to be reckoned with.

Yichén - Yichén's animal is the turtle! He's shy and squimish - like a turtle always in it's shell. Along with turtles being (somewhat) relevant to Yichén's nationality, their shells were often commonly used in traditional medical practices, paying homage to the Wén family business.

Reece - Reece's animal is the Tasmanian Devil. The main reason being that it's a carnivorous marsupial... and Alli's afraid of marsupials. I thought it'd fit seeing as he's her toxic ex-boyfriend.

C.C - C.C's animal is the common house fly! It's hard assigning an animal to a robot, but I think a house fly really works for C.C . Flies are often associated with being annoying, always buzzing around you. Like C.C, who is always trying her best to make friends. Also flies are bugs... like... like computer bugs... and C.C's personality comes from a bug in her coding....

Chiyuki - Chiyuki's animal is the moose! She doesn't have as much reason as the others with hers only being her tall and firm stature as well as mooses (is that the plural?) representing resilience- ironic considering it was her lack of resilience that pushed her to curse herself.

I doubt that anyone would have noticed since I haven't finished the designs for all my tkdb ocs, but my American/Western ghouls wear their uniforms informally whilst my Eastern ghouls are more by-the-book. Not just because of the cultural differences, but also because of their personalities.

Chiyuki and Yichén wear their Darkwick uniforms neatly and with all the pieces of it. This is because Chiyuki doesn't really have much of a personality to express herself with and Yichén does his best when going along with a guideline- like a uniform.

Alli only wears the school tie and skirt - the most "unique" parts of the uniform in her opinion. Afterall, cute short skirts and intricate ties are what the school girls wear in the anime she watches!

Reece... Reece just wears the lapel pin. And not even in the right place. It's because he doesn't care for the school or being a ghoul or anomalies or anything like that. He's just here to torment Alli

I still haven't decided what to do for C.C's uniform though. C.C is supposed to be from Switzerland - but I'm not sure what the uniform customs there are . To be honest , I haven't even figured out what kind of body I want to give her. All I have planned for her design is her TV head.

Though, something you might have noticed is how my transfer ghouls have silver accents in their uniform! I got this from Luca's design which has one silver chain on his shoulder. It's never explicitly said why he has silver but I've always assumed it's because he's a transfer student since he's the only one with silver. also I just prefer silver over gold and yes it's only one silver chain but my transfer ghouls have all silver

A TKDB OC for every house!

yeah, that's right, I made an oc for every house. This is light work compared to my Dangonronpa phase!

I have plans to make roleplay blogs for 2/3 of the new OC's- you'll probably be able to guess who based on the content of their section.

Staring with Frostheim, meet Chiyuki Kobayakawa!

Chiyuki (千雪) , or "Yukigen" (雪幻), as she's derogatorily called, is a Frostheim 3rd year suffering from a curse that makes her completely apathetic. Her nickname, "Yukigen", is a mix between the second character of her given name and "gen" (幻), as in illusion, since she's merely a shell of the women she used to be.

Ironically, Chiyuki's stigma allows her to "share" emotions as if they were something tangible that could be passed out in a sort of twisted torment where she can comprehend the feelings of others while feeling none herself.

Chiyuki's artifact is an ornate longsword that she handles with finesse- having been a skilled fencer before her time at Darkwick. Her sword doesn't have any special abilities like Jin's or Rui's sycthe- it's simply just a well-crafted blade.

Like Kaito, Chiyuki isn't rich or snobby like most of Frostheim. She was placed in the icy house due to her grace and sense of order. Before she was cursed, Chiyuki would often help out the staff as a teaching assistant of sorts. Even now, she guides the students of Darkwick better than the employed staff...

Next up, Hifumi Hattori from Vagastorm!!

Hifumi (一二三) is a Vagastorm 3rd year who's practically the definition of "don't judge a book by its cover". They look cold-hearted and intimidating, but Hifumi is a total sweetie pie who'd probably be better off in Jabberwock due to their personality and love for marine biology.

Hifumi's stigma is somewhat adjacent to telekinesis, allowing them to magnitize objects to themselves. This is especially useful with their special artifact, an anchor that they swing around and throw like a heavy boulder.

Allister Jane Doe is a transfer student (technically an immigrant) from America - known for her sporadic personality and immense knowledge on zoology. The manic pixie dream girl of nightmares, Alli does everything she can to distract herself from the horrors she's been through. She lives in her own world, doing as she pleases- her only sense of responsibility comes in the form of taking care of her menagerie of snakes and her "son", Kithy, an unknown anomaly that resembles an octopus with bat wings.

Alli's stigma allows her to "urge" any living thing weak-willed enough to succumb to her commands. Her stigma, at it's best, can completely dictate the actions and thoughts of a creature. And at it's worst, it's simply like transferring an idea into someone else's mind. Alli uses her stigma to calm and moderate the multitude of dangerous animals she works with- mostly reptiles. Due to the nature of her demonic pact, she's also resistant to most toxic chemicals.

The special artifact Alli carries is a balisong knife which she named "Balisong Billie". "Billie" can shrink and grow at will, as well as levitate and move on his own. He acts as a guardian of sorts- protecting Alli out of thanks for taking him under her care and allowing him to stay autonomous as opposed to just being a tool for another ghoul.

As a form of coping with her problems, Alli indulges in several vices from hard drugs to self harm to sexualizing the fuck out of herself. She yearns for attention and validation, acceptance and love. And when she doesn't get what she wants, she drowns her sorrows in absinthe and delusions.

And I finally made a character to take the blame for her antics! Reece Aguirre!

Reece Aguirre is another American transfer (who once again, is actually an immigrant) and a Sinostra 2nd year. Having known Alli since he became a ghoul, Reece adores her as his favorite victim. For years, he manipulated her and led her on- keeping her in a limbo of dependence out of his own amusement. It was only after she killed his sister, Yasmine, that Reece began to genuinely seek out to hurt Alli. To tear what little sense of stability she has left into little pieces until she was nothing but a corpse made of her own volition.

Reece's stigma is similar to Alli's (in the sense that he can use it to manipulate people). His stigma allows him to confuse people with their own desires- making them unable to tell up from down and good from evil. He uses this to get others to do his dirty work. Stealing, cheating, scamming. He even uses his stigma to rig games at the Sinostra Casino despite being scolded not to.

Reece has a pretty simple special artifact in the form of a standard-sized uzi. He rarely ever uses it unless to kill an anomaly.

In case you haven't noticed, Reece is kind of the Anti-Alli (as well as being anti-Alli!). In fact, the entire reason he exists is so I can torment Alli more. Yet, he's still his own character. Unlike if the roles were reversed, he has other victims outside of Alli. Namely, C.C Gizmo (My Obscuary OC who'll be featured later!). Reece gets a rise out of holding power over others and watching people crumble in front of him. He's the perfect catalyst for any fellow roleplayers who want to explore the "worst" of their muses!!

What's next? Hotarubi, right?

For Hotarubi we have Naomi (直美) Sakaguchi, another second-year, except she's just a regular human. There's really not much to say about Naomi. She's a famous cosplayer who has an intense case of haphephobia, so she spends most of her time working on her costumes in her dorm.

Insert segway into the Obscuary section!!!

In Obscurary, we have C.C Gizmo, a first-year robot girl on a mission to make as many friends as possible! Previously known as Cee Plus-Plus, I changed her name because I don't think I could take her seriously with it. Like I mentioned, C.C is a robot, and totally not a discount version of Calculester from Monster Prom!

C.C isn't a ghoul, but she's treated as one. Her abilities are meant to replicate that of a ghoul, and her "function" is to research ghouls from a statistical standpoint. This would be her focus... if she didn't have an unfixable bug that gives her dyscalculia. Her creater said "fuck it, we ball" and decided to repurpose her into a more social based researcher.

Because she's just so cool, C. C doesn't need a special artifact. She uses electrical currents to shock and stun any hostile anomalies with the tips of her equivalent to fingers. Though, C.C avoids violence as much as possible. She's a pacifist! Just like her Rui! Speaking of Rui - since she doesn't have a life force to be drained of, she's one of the rare few who can touch him!

Lastly, my beloved botanist boy, Yichén Wén <3

Yichén Wén (奕辰) is a transfer student (Yes, an actual transfer student!) from China, and a Mortkranken first year. He has a knack for herbal medicine and foraging, namely because of his family's business practice of traditional Chinese medicine. Yichén is shy, small, and squeamish, often being mistaken for a young girl or even sometimes a child. Most people underestimate him but no one underestimates him as much as himself with the poor boy suffering a severe case of imposter syndrome. Despite being in the medical field, Yichén is a chronic smoker who tries his best to keep his tobacco taboo under wraps.... but is almost painfully horrible at it.

Yichén's special artifact is a vintage bone saw that he rarely ever even carries with him. Confrontation is one of his biggest fears and he'd rather just stay at Mortkranken and support from the sidelines.... by cleaning around the clinic or something....

You'd probably never guess that Yichén was a ghoul. Why would a guy like him ever make a demonic pact? Regardless, he is a ghoul, and ghouls have stigmas! Yichén is able to control blood flow, clotting, and pressure with his stigma- which would make him an excellent nurse.... if he didn't have a serious case of hemophobia. So instead, he just offers his experience on herbs and recommends practically every one who sees him to go get help from anyone but him.

And there's all seven houses! Do I get an award now? No? :(

Once I get them drawn up, I'll be making rp blogs for Chiyuki and Reece, so get excited! or not. But it'd make me happy if you did.

Alli's blog will still be my main focus for as long as the roleplay community is active. She's my babygirl, my precious lab rat. Reece will kind of act as an extension to Alli, reblogging a lot of her posts with snarky comments, but please interact with him if you'd like! Just know he will be a total asshole. And a sideblog.

Chiyuki's blog will function the same as Yichén's with me posting as her whenever I feel up to it (however rare that may be...). Even if I only use her account once a month, I hope you all still enjoy her!
