Nero loves Hakuno, she fell so hard for her, and now there's no going back.

I guess not much will really change after all.

It is really sad that just as she's determined to try and change and go against BB for Haku, she's killed.

And I think I've got a guess as to who did it.

I wonder if Hakuno not killing Passionlip allows Kiara to take over the narrative. By having the Alter Egos not be killed by Hakuno, maybe her programming isn't changed in a way that allows her to be so powerful.

I love that there is a realization of just how much they differ as their final battle begins.

Saber believes that an audience is the whole point of a performance, the point is to show your love to your adoring crowds. There is no stage without an audience.

Elizabeth believes that all that matters is her, the audience is unnecessary, and if I'm remembering right, that's shown in her Noble Phantasm, she's not playing for others, only for herself. And it's the job of the audience to love her regardless of how she plays.

And Saber fully acknowledges her as a friend, and because of that, she needs to show Elizabeth just how wrong her views on this truly are.

I've always loved that Nero acknowledges she was a tyrant, she had flaws.

Like, I was talking to someone about Nero a few days ago, and they were shocked to hear that the tyrant Nero Claudius was in any way a sympathetic figure in this game.

And I think a core fact about is that, while it does change a bit of Nero's backstory from what I remember, it also never shys away from her being a tyrant and a bad person.

Same with every Servant. They all have terrible aspects to them, Gil and Tamamo are self-explanatory, and Archer killed so many people as a counter guardian as he said in FSN, like I feel like they all have darker aspects to them.

Nero was a tyrant, and she never shys away from that.

But she did love her people in her own way, and tried her best to show that love as much as she could.

In contrast, Elizabeth only cares about maintaining herself, her own beauty, her own treasures, she never loved her people, not in the way Nero did.

Elizabeth just got murdered.

I really like HakuNero.

Her just taking time to reassure Hakuno that they're not a bad person, that even if they make mistakes, mistakes don't make a bad person.

And they'll support each other and soar away together, however long they can last like this. She views Hakuno as someone incredibly precious to her, and knows that Hakuno feels the same about her.

Yeah, I think she did. But that's why?

I think I might have made a joke about him in that moment, but the thought that that moment touched him more than anything else really tugs at my heart just a bit.

Like, he wanted to leave behind some record, and in the process of trying to do that, he fails. But he discovers someone who genuinely did care about him in the end.

And that touched him enough to change and sacrifice himself just to keep that one person who cared that much to survive.

It is nice that they come right out again and have Nero outright proclaim that she does not care about gender at all when discussing who she's attracted to.

Okay, this really gets me, especially after having beaten CCC's normal ending.

Because this feels like it takes on so much more after realizing BB just wanted to make a safe world for Hakuno, knowing that the Near Side of the Moon would only result in her deletion.

This is Sakura voicing something that BB probably wonders herself.

Why won't Hakuno just accept this safe space, even after she believes her situation is hopeless?

She still fights back, because that's who she is. That's how she got as far as she did.

Love that he has a response to not killing Nero with his spear.

As much as Meltryllis's love is selfish, not allowing the other any choice in how they're loved, I can't help but see the love in it.

Her love is literally toxic, poisoning and melting down the subject of it, but it sounds like it is done out of an attempt to put them in a state where they can no longer be harmed and to fully know and understand them as part of herself.

Hang on, but even if it dropped to level 1, he'd still give her extra experience, right?

So, she absorbed negative 999 levels from Shinji, bringing her all the way down to zero.

Yeah, that's honestly such a good plan from Shinji. He sacrificed himself, lowering his level to use himself as bait, all to take her down to something fair.

Honestly, there's some pretty thoughtful stuff here about being a writer, how sometimes you write stuff for yourself, and sometimes you write stuff because you feel you must.

And he immediately turns around and claims that he wrote it because he found writing a tragic story funny and is happy to proclaim to the sky "die normies".
