>yeah i'll absorb him into my psyche anyways hi TOME fandom . i have a lot of thoughts and opinions and my main one is "why did kirb have to die" and "so we all agree that kirb and zet are 2 different people and idc if the show says he's just an alt account he's sentient right" . so anyways here's an au where he lives via tech shenanigans and also there's kirbalpha but with like a twist + hint of yumeshipping in there. more under cut if ur interested bwehgh ... also tagging @wolf-of-hearts bc you wanted to see my art :D hai

so this au takes place in a universe where the game re-opens after having been shut down, simply so they could allow all the drama around the forbidden power to die down (and fully fix things and really just ... rework the game from the ground up.) GC/Softdi still exists and still walks around as a normal player, but chooses to still stay with Alpha's group out of safety. (they were actually picked to be bug testers and are also considered honorary Netkings!) it reopens and everything's fine, but ... kirb is still in the game. his model and his ... entire being, still left behind to persist in the aether of TOME. when kajet corrupted his model, he also basically severed him and his consciousness from Zetto, but this wasn't a problem since, well ... he was dead. but with the game being restarted, he exists again . and he realises that he's ... alone. the very game he loved so much , he was now trapped in and left to be isolation.

until Hype logs in (lil cosmic brownie bunny lookin thing!!) :3 Hype is a new player and basically winds up recreating Alpha's encounter with Kajet but its with them and Kirb, and Kirb isnt looking to destroy or anything, he just wants his friends back.

tl;dr their models fuse together and "why do i look like a FAG" "oh relax it's fine ur such a pussy" "DONT FUCKING CALL ME THAT???"

they find alpha and the gang in ;Lavendera , they meet up and ... shenanigans ensue. (aka zetto is NOT happy his own creation is alive and attached parasite-style to another player 😭) there's a bunch of other details + there's some kirbalpha stuff going on (kirb gets jelly of flame, yadda yadda , dw they end up in a cule its okay 😭) but this is really like. self indulgence for the sake of it. is it messy and doesnt make sense. yeah. is it still fun? yeauh.

TOME OC REDUX

SO i redesigned all my tome ocs (bar onyx, hes perfect and needs no redesign) and re wrote all their back stories too. all that info under the cut

Felix Kitsune AI Standard - He/Any Demon - He/it

Felix is an AI and the former guardian of Mech City.  He got infected by the virus. in an attempt to destroy him, the netkings tried to delete him. the virus and him wanting to stay alive. fused to be strong enough to stop the deletion. now Felix still gaurds mech city as a weird AI vigilante. but he can still lose control of his virus side and turn into a large demon fox. because of this, he isolates himself only showing himself when needed --- Sage She/Her Hamster AI

Sage is a hamster AI, and the guardian of Sancutary An AI built to be a surveillance and communication system for tome. Her friend Cherry is one part of a massive hivemind of plants and roots all through the region, she uses this to watch the area and pings the mods if any players attempt to fight or cause issues. 

She lost her eye (and in turn some of her programming) to Lady Trojan, after refusing to tell the program anomaly where Sofdti is. This effected her ability to watch the region and things have begun to slip through the cracks. --- Mercury He/Him Snake Ai

Mercury is an AI built to be the guardian of Lavendera. he is competitive and cocky. trying to encourage all battle to take place in his region. much like Sage and Felix, he also watches over the region and reports to the mods if anything gos bad.

a piece of the anti-virus was placed in him by tigerlilly as a safety precaution in case something bad happened to the current holder of the anti-virus, and/or keep the region safe if the primary holder is offline. he can use this anti-virus in the form of venom.  --- Lady Trojan (Renamed from Lady Tigerlilly) She/They Chimera AI

Lady Trojan is AI Chimera. an anomaly. Originally a fragment of Sofdti used to keep Kajet sealed, after he broke out, she became corrupted. a conflicting desire to create everything and destroy it manifested into a drive to consume. she goes around stealing and consuming player character models, stray programs and code. Including a piece of the anti-virus recovered from zettos broken arm in episode 10. because of this she has visual aspects of all programs shes consumed.  --- Leon Formally Dragon-Bug/D-bug He/It Kirin Dragon Anti-virus

A mechanical kirin dragon anti-virus. a recreation of the anti-virus from fragments scattered after the end of the series. He's depressed because hes literally built to kill but enjoys simple things like knitting, planting and tea. His hair turns into flames when hes in klilling mode.

with that said im just gonna tell you a stupid idea i got for my ocs as a solution to this problem and hope you like it

okay so youre vaguely aware of z and how shes slowly evolved as a character

sometimes ive also made older versions of her into seperate characters for given amounts of time

given that most of the times their relationships with the at-the-time current versions of z were either non-existent or negative

i started wondering "what if i made old!tumblr!z and current!canon!z friends"

and then that came to the idea of "what if they just pretended to be each other for april fools one day"

i mean x (old!tumblr!z) could do it because of the weird ass abilities i gave him and he probably would do it because hes a cheeky prick [affectionate]

and zetto (current!canon!z) could definitely do it because shes essentially a tmc alternate but if they were aliens and not demons and she maybe would do it because she likes being silly

God DAMN it I will never be free

I see THIS image and my brain goes directly to an OC I made in high school and remember all the cute roleplay stuff I did with friends and the complex relationship dynamics we developed because I was like "hey what if the antivirus was a cute anime girl and she thought of Zetto and Kizuna as her parents" because I fucking frolicked in the lack of clarity surrounding certain aspects of the series.

None of this is bad. I just mean. Dang. Way to hit me with a wave of nostalgia and minor childhood embarrassment.
