Given how much survivor's guilt that Zora has, I wonder what was going through her head the moment Henry's line broke on the cliffside scene.

I bet once the adrenaline wore off she wouldn't take "I'm not hurt" for an answer. Henry would probably be taken aback momentarily at Zora touching his chest when she's trying to feel for any cracked ribs.

OH MY GOD STOPPPPP, yeah I actually have a tiny fic I wrote of her treating a wound of his and henry (lowkey crushing hard) trying not to like pass out LMAO. holding my head in my hands, you anon may have enabled me to write this scene too though.

Zora stubbornly making Everyone wait to move on until after she takes a look at Henry, because there's no way he isn't at least bruised from hitting trees on his way down. Henry would much rather suffer in silence and keep moving, not that he can even feel the pain for the shock he's still in. But something about the look in Zora's eyes tells him that he'd be a lot better off just listening, and it's her firm yet gentle touch that settles his heart but makes him all too aware of his body and how close they are and suddenly he can't make eye contact with her. Of course when they're done, he asks if she'd like him to check anywhere on her for breaks or bruises. She just smiles and shakes her head and Henry can't help smiling too.

what’s your personal favorite head cannons about Zora/Henry?

- Henry's kicking a smoking habit, that's why he's always crunching on those altoids he carries around. Zora is very surprised when she finds this out, but finds the idea of him smoking kinda hot so she's like "I... shan't comment."

- She loves taking care of him ❤️ making sure he eats well when he's working hard and has a lot on his mind, treating his injuries, that kinda stuff. He'll easily continue their late night conversations while being almost totally asleep until she takes his glasses off and tells him to just go to sleep and then he's out like a light.

Zora, talking about some plan or life thing: What do you think?

Henry, eyes closed: Hmm. Well, it...sorta makes sense. There's...an angle, or a couple angles, you could see that from-

Zora: are you currently asleep?

Henry: umm... no....

Zora, taking his glasses: go to sleep.

Henry, grumbling, eyes still closed: I was using those...

- Zora always makes the first move. Not because he isn't interested, he very much is, but more because one of the only things that scares him is coming off the wrong way to a woman. Zora is caught right between wanting that cookie so bad and also being terrified of getting close to anyone after all the loss she's suffered. Their first kiss is a long time coming that when it finally happens it's a surprise to them both and Henry's like "oh my god. (Kisses her again) .... oh my god . (Kisses her again) ... Hehee. (Kisses her agai" I THINK THEY BOTH GET REALLY GIDDY AND DUMB ABOUT IT

- Zora the dangerous flirt and Henry the thrill seeking attention whore perfect couple of all time ever

- Henry loves traveling and Zora has only ever traveled for work, so he likes to plan trips for them, but he's generally very spontaneously romantic so this is usually him saying stuff like "hey let's take next week off and go spelunking in Mexico" and Zora's like okay
