Elena Greco in Five Outfits

Elena Greco is the narrator of "My Brilliant Friend" and the main character. Here she is portrayed based on the first novel of the series, during her teen years. Much of her life is devoted to school.

(1) [Top left corner] Lena is in her every day attire, something you might see her wearing while walking around the Stradona, heading to the stationer's shop, or to vsit Maestra Oliverio.

(2) [Bottom left corner] Lena's family is poor, but she manages to find a weather and school appropriate outfit for the winter.

(3) [Center] In my mind, Lena is wearing some combination of a white and blue outfit for high school. Wearing this, she challenges the religion teacher and gets a behavioral demerit, but wins the attention of the communist teacher, Professor Galiani, and the jealous eye of older student (and former neighbor) Nino Sarratore.

(4) [Top right corner] Lena heads to Ischia for the summer. It is the first time she has left the neighborhood and her family. She stays with Maestra Olivero's cousin at her bed and breakfast. She does the cooking and cleaning, but also has a lot of time to read and write to Lila. It takes a little encouraging for her before she goes down to the beach.

(5) [Bottom right corner] Lena gets dressed up for the wedding of her best friend, Lila Cerullo. She is jealous of her friend for securing a seemingly good and wealthy husband (Stefano Carracci). At the wedding, her mother spies her spending too much time with her secret boyfriend, Antonio, so she sits with the elusive Nino Sarratore, much to Antonio's chagrin.

Here are four outfits from different scenarios in the book, "My Brilliant Friend".

(1) Lila is out on the town with her friends, making fun of the wealthy people who go by.

(2) Lila has been practicing dancing with her brother, Rino, and heading to the party where the young people dance to newfangled rock and roll music. Tension ensues when multiple suitors try to dance with her.

(3) Lila is forced to work at her father's shoe-maker shop. Here, she and her brother secretly work on a new design for a shoe.

(4) Lila is a stunning bride at only 16 years old. Her friend, Elena, helped her pick out the dress.

"You're my brilliant friend," Lila Cerullo and Elena Greco of the Neopolitan Series. Here they are depicted in their teen years, while Lena is attending high school, and her best friend Lila is forced to stay behind at her father's shoemaker shop. I created a batch of my favorite characters from the novels, but plan on doing a second batch of more characters. While creating them, I gave them personality traits to try to emulate their counterparts in the novels; well, the Sim 4 unfortunately is severely lacking when it comes to nuanced personalities. So here we have Lila, the hotheaded genius, and Lenu, the proper bookworm. The apartments and stradona are still under construction, but sadly my game just crashed, so I took a break to post these photos. Ciao!

The founding couple. Okay, so after many years of totally forgetting about this game, i got it again in january of this year. Of course, I started by making a simself. It's not super accurate lmao. Trying not to get toooo addicted, at this point, I am now playing the second-third generations. I have been getting into mods and cc, so I'm officially checking back in to tumblr to look for more. Probs won't post much, but I wanted to start sharing somewhere, mostly for my own posterity. Founding couple is Bella and Felix, no cc.
