GHOST is the Swedish artist who has had the most streams this year thus far. They hold 3 of the top 5 spots and 9 of the 10 Skeleta album tracks appear on the list.
“The first six months of the year can be summed up as an incredibly clear marker for our major Swedish exports: hard rock and metal,” says Emma Vikström, Spotify music manager in the Nordic countries.
First and second place is Ghost with the songs "Satanized" and "Lachryma". Ghost also has the fifth most played Swedish song internationally during the first half of the year: "Peacefield".
