When drawing layers of flowers or plants, how do you figure out how to keep all the stems and leaves straight/connected when there's overlap? Sometimes while drawing stuff like that my brain has such a hard time detangling everything and translating it to paper. But with your work I always know which stem goes where, lol

I am usually drawing from life, so I just take my time and figure it out slowly! And a great thing about drawing organic things is that they are very forgiving : )
