Betty tried to regain her composure as he climbed up her body, peppering kisses as he went. When he finally came to rest above her, she stared in awe at his beauty. His galaxy blue eyes were almost black with longing, that one unruly black curl resting on his forehead.

She reached a hand up to his cheek, loving that he leaned into her touch, closing his eyes. Her heart ached with how much she loved him. Sometimes it scared her, how much they loved each other. Often times she would find herself imagining the worst, imagining a day where she might have to live without him. Each time the horrible thought crossed her mind, she was left with a crippling sadness, deep enough to prevent her from getting out of bed. She couldn’t imagine having to live her life without him.
