This holiday season, please consider supporting Dahnoun Mutual Aid’s campaign to provide winter clothes and blankets in Gaza. Dahnoun is a Gazawi-run grassroots initiative that has been providing thousands of people in multiple areas of Gaza with water, food, baby milk, diapers, tents, and other supplies since July. With your donations, they are able to buy blankets and clothes in bulk at a reduced price and give them out at no cost to people sheltering in displacement camps. Their Chuffed campaign is linked above, and you can find their Venmo and Paypal in addition to documentation of the past several months’ aid initiatives on Instagram. The blankets and clothes fundraiser is detailed in a recent post: instagram.com/dahnounmutualaid

i know its like basic intersectionality but do you ever notice how when people talk about women its always the most privileged well off women. whenever you talk about men its immediately made out to be about Black, trans, and disabled men, but if you start talking about women then obviously the best example is the rich white girl from california. any time you talk about men being privileged its like oh you think im better off than this girl who happens to be better off than me?? um. no, i think you're better off than the girl who's in your same position but as a woman. thats literally it.

don't particularly agree with the angle JGP takes on her latest article but seeing all the bad faith readings by TME people who are mad at the most basic "trans people are those who reject their sex assignment" takes makes me refrain from criticizing it because people *cannot* be normal about disagreeing with a trans woman i swear to christ

it's not about being #triggered about people wanting to be dicked down it's about the shockingly common "i support all sexual expression!! it's pure coincidence my desires align with the hegemony in this way!"
can i be a woke little snowflake and complain about how even queer and nominally "radical" spaces are incapable of separating penis=penetration=dominating??? even people who will applaud you for pointing this out still constantly imply this is the Natural Default and anything else is a cool little quirk. and if you say anything about it people will take it as you being against their personal sexual expression and not. pointing out a very striking socially imposed pattern that they're reproducing.

obviously everything happening in the us is horrific but (like everything in trump's traveling carnival of government) it's mostly exceptional in now slapdash and clownish the cruelty is. let us please not forget that the EU has been paying foreign governments to torture and murder asylum seekers for years -- and australia's been doing the 'sending refugees to unaccountable offshore camps' thing for more than two decades. & like i say this not to detract from the justified fury and outrage for the situation in the usa but to urge everyone to analyse it not as some bizarre abberation but as something that fits alongside a long list of policies long pursued by the usa and other imperial core nations

like obviously cis women are a subjugated class in The Gender Hierarchy and also a lot of them are marginalized in other ways and do get teenagers chasing them and calling them slurs yknow. but transandrobros always flatten the transmasculine experience to being basically that of a cis women with some extra disadvantages and. lol no.
if i see a transandrobro saying trans men are "treated as (implied:cis) women" one more time-

i've said this before but. while the worst part of these people's rancid reactionary bullshit is **by miles** the transmisogyny, i also have my grievances with how shitty, doomer and outright transphobic they are to trans men!!! we're not treated as cis women!!!! do you think cis women get chased by teenagers calling them faggots on the regular!!!!!!!!!!!!
if i see a transandrobro saying trans men are "treated as (implied:cis) women" one more time-

Ok like, I feel like people conceptualize this whole debate about trans people's relative privilege over one another in very silly ways. Like, saying trans men being seen as "actually women" is not beneficial in a strict sense. It doesn't mean there are actual direct 'benefits' it just means you might be regarded as a "misguided woman tricked by the trans agenda" instead of the full on "dangerous pedophile" treatment trans women get! Like both are shitty but one of these is an objectively worse thing to be labeled with!

which is why i talked about "the conversation" and even highlighted the valid arguments that can be made about this instead of saying "every single person of color upset at her past racist comments is a bad faith transmisogynist who deserves to die in a pit of fire" but i guess you have to really look into the detail of the post and read between the lines to notice this subtle difference
if the conversation around ethel cain was truly about racism we'd be talking about how white teenagers are often empowered to make "edgy" racist comments with zero consequences to them -unless they're later in life targeted by nazis who wanna dig up dirt on them, which i'm sure it's a wholly unproblematic pattern and it shouldn't worry us that it keeps working great for the nazis-, how this affects their racialized peers, and how to prevent this from happening at a larger scale. not, you know, calling a trans woman an incestuous dog fucking racist pedophile for what she posted when she was 19.
