No it's a great question :)

We would love to follow the author's schedule of every 2 weeks (I think that's what she did but correct us if we're wrong) if possible but it's really a matter of how much time we've got on our hands.

Many of us have been moving into new homes and others like Dee are getting engaged or married. Plus the author's chapters are pretty big. She spellchecks and reviews everything before giving us the okay to post it for her but we like to read through the chapter ourselves first before posting and all that takes a while.

So yeah, basically we just try to get the chapter out for you guys as soon as we can but it's just hard when you have a huge chapter to read through first while balancing life. I have no clue how these authors do it!

Ages ago, did you happen to have an A03 about Devil May Cry, called ''Bloodlines''? was this you? I had this fic bookmarked but now I cant find it. Any ideas?

Hi! So the author has been away to focus on her health so we as her friends have been managing her fanfic and this blog in her stead. We did relay your message to her and this is her response:

"Yes, I did write that Devil May Cry fanfic but I deleted it due to harassment from the misogynistic side of the fandom which ruined the experience and left a bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately I trashed the documents a long while back and my trash and hard drive have since been cleaned out so there's no way to retrieve the files. I don't have any plans to rewrite the fic or return to the fandom. My sincerest apologies!"

Sorry we missed this message! We don't use Tumblr so we often forget to check the inbox thing 😅 the author has been focusing on her health but it's been a huge struggle for her so it's definitely gonna take some time. But she's been a bit more stable compared to last year! It's touching to see you guys concerned and we appreciate it :)

Phew, it's been hectic over here since the LA fires but we're happy to say our schedules have finally made space to post another chapter for The Anatomy of Love. We're in the process of spell checking the author's work but it should be ready for tonight at the earliest or tomorrow morning at the latest!

The author has also been doing better these days and says she looks forward to returning soon!

Hello readers!

It's been a while and we hope everyone's had a nice holiday season. We've been pretty busy travelling for the holidays and spending time with family and friends across the country since November so that's why we've all been MIA. The author suggested we make a post updating what we've been up to or else readers get anxious lol so to address several things:

1) We will post a chapter today very soon!

2) The author is still not well enough to return but she thanks you for your patience and support and your comments always brighten her day!

3) We will be introducing ourselves in the upcoming chapter's author's note section so that you can get to know us, the author's bestest friends ever, a little better!

4) Unfortunately, and most importantly, we may not have time to post forthcoming chapters in the next month or so due to the wildfire situation rampaging across Los Angeles. We're all safe but the author has many friends and family in LA and it has been difficult for her to see places she knew and loved since childhood burning to the ground. We will be busy partaking in volunteer efforts to support our neighbors and kindly ask for your continued patience.

5) The author said many of you will be starting school soon or have started already and so she wishes any students here good luck on your classes. And the author also says "Not to sound like a nagging mother but if you're going to party just make sure to always keep an eye on your drinks and always use a buddy system wherever you go no matter how safe you think an area is" (says the girl who partied hard and crazy at frat houses back in college haha). One last word from the author: take care of yourselves and have empathy for others.

Does anyone know how to insert images in a chapter on AO3?

We found some images in the author's notebook in some of her chapters, as well as her header image thing she puts at the top of each chapter.

But we just haven't figured out how she put those images into the chapter...
