Yep I'm currently feeling as happy as Alfie is here. I've finished work until after Easter with some adventures in Aviemore and Edinburgh planned. Speaking of which I am away to make 2 cakes this afternoon: a Victoria Sponge and @thehappypear Chocolate mousse cake (a special request). Someone seems to have missed the memo to provide sunshine today. Last Sunday was glorious; today not so much. Today is a dog walk day although I'm not sure my legs will manage after this morning's gym session where my legs were still shaking long after. Today this pup turns 8! He is still obsessed with swimming, playing with balls and mugging dad for biscuits (right hand pocket always!). He also loves cuddles and does (what he thinks is) a fair trade - one cuddle equals a face wash in return for you. He is fiercely loyal, loves 'helping' Dad in the garden (bonus if the leaf blower is out...) and loves watching animals on tv. He is Maisie's best friend and always looks out for her...but then again he also enjoys winding her up daily 🤷 https://ift.tt/2WwApjO
