You ran away.

It wasn't even that big of a deal- this game of cat and mouse had become routine with you and the other rebels. You ran, and they sent one of their clowns to pick you up. Three would come and find you and ask you if you wanted her to punch you in the head or something, she'd freak out about it and you'd genuinely consider it. Or maybe Meulin would come sniffing around and tackle you, forcing you out of whatever headspace you find yourself spiraling in to spar with her. Maybe Rosa or Signless would come after you specifically, do their damnedest to talk you down. Whatever happened, whoever came, you would always return back with them. It was a farce, you never actually planned on leaving. It was all just some biological trigger, a desperate need to prove your freedom. But unlike before at your boot camp, you didn't actually have anything you wanted to run away from. Maybe sometimes you got it in your head that they'd be better off without you, but it was never about getting away from them for YOUR safety. That was the difference between them and the hive.

Except this time you didn't make it back. The Signless sent out Three to go find you and came up empty handed. She had no idea about the struggle you put up when you were accosted by two cerulean, and the only clue left over was your headband abandoned somewhere out in the Silva Forest. If you weren't unconscious you'd be thinking about how many you were asking for this, you brought it on yourself by taking something good for granted. But you aren't conscious, you're out cold and getting delivered directly to Amporas ship like mailed rations.

While I iron out the details I wanted to post a bit about what I'm planning for Charun's dreamwalker abilities as an Heir of Rage:

Considering Charuns shown to have their hands on a literal Juju (two? im pretty sure?) I've decided Charuns dreamself is either literally a trickster, or functions as one. Dream Charun, the one you could meet in your dreamscape, would both look and act completely different than their waking self, not because they are fundimentally different people but because Charuns dreamself has the energy to engage with their likes and interests and the dreamworld around them, inhabitionless, without worry of getting caught for being a Lime. Once I get home I plan on designing dream Charun.

I also believe the trickster angle would be perfect considering Rage players are inherently tied to the ideas of consumption and more importantly "junkfood", sweets and drugs and poisons and soda. I also think this manifests due to Charuns massive fatigue problem. They spend a lot of time eating large portions of surgary or fatty foods due to a lack of naturally occurring energy in their body. When they're asleep, they have that energy, and snacks along with it.

I also think this is a good way for them to keep themselves safe on Alternia incase something were to gwt close enough to find out that theyre a Lime. They can not only cause people to grow drowsy and possibly fall asleep just by existing near them, but once they are asleep Charun has an upper hand in their dream. Its a perfect way for them to passively escape dangerous situations.

That said, if you ever want Charun to enter your muses dreams tellll meeeeee Id love that.

something about the way that the signlesses face is almost never seen in my drawings is so important and was a completely subconscious choice but i think it fits in so insanely well with my personal characterization of him. he is faceless, he is an amorphous movement. despite being a leader and a head of the family and the literal face of his massive rebellion that shakes the planet to its core for the rest of the time, he is nothing. he is faceless. he is whatever people project onto him at the time. an angry violent vagrant trying to steal back what he never had in the first place, or a loving gentle father that has come to sweep up young trolls in his arms and whisk them away to somewhere nicer, or a creep in sheeps clothing, or a walking disease, or a naive fool. and he plays into each category as to turn it on its head, he has already been demonized to hell and back that there is no way for him to find himself offended with your assumptions- he likes to turn them on their head.

But then what does that leave him, when theres no one else to perceive him? How do you develop an identity to call your own when your existence is so heavily dependent on the interpretation others have of you, if with one wrong move with your identity you could get yourself publicly executed or worse?
