How Nanobots are used to kill cancer cells?

Cancer survival rates could grow exponentially if scientists succeed in developing microscopic medical weapons that destroy cancerous cells. Nanomachines may be small – 50,000 of them would fit across the width of a human hair – but they have the potential to be extremely effective in the fight against cancer.
Durham University in the United Kingdom used nanobots to drill into cancer cells, killing them in just 60 seconds. They’re starting with microorganisms and small fish before moving on to rodents. Human clinical trials are expected to follow, with the hope that the results will save millions of lives.
The mechanics of nanobots
These tiny molecules contain components that allow them to recognize and attach to cancer cells. When the nanobots’ rota-like chain of atoms is activated by light, it begins to spin at an incredible rate – around two to three million times per second. The nanobot then drills into the cancer cell, blasting it open. The research is still in its early stages, but researchers believe it has the potential to lead to new cancer treatments.

Top Humanoid Robots Made in India
Humanoid robots have been picking up steam in India for some time. Although India is still catching up with developments in artificial intelligence and robotics in comparison to other countries, Indian startups and the government are working at a rapid pace to integrate new-age technologies. According to IFR research, robot sales in India increased by 27% to a new peak of 2,627 units, nearly matching Thailand. According to another survey, India ranks third in the world in terms of robotic automation implementation.

Manav – India’s First 3D-Printed Humanoid Robot
Manav, India’s first 3D humanoid robot, was developed by the A-SET Training and Research Institute in Delhi. This two-kilogram, two-foot humanoid is primarily intended for research purposes, and it has an integrated vision and sound processing capability that allows it to walk, talk, and dance only in response to human commands.
Manav is also proficient in football, headstands, and push-ups. It teaches you how to learn and react as a human child using open-source code. It also has WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a fully charged rechargeable lithium polymer battery that can run for an hour.
Robocop- World’s first police officer robot
H-Bots Robotics based in Hyderabad, a start-up in artificial intelligence and machine learning, has developed Robocop, a police robot that can assist with law enforcement and traffic control. The life-size robot has cameras and a variety of sensors, including ultrasonic, proximity, and temperature sensors. The robot is designed to protect and secure offices, shopping malls, airports, signal stations, and other public places.
Mitra – Humanoid Capable Of Interacting With Humans
Mitra is a five-foot humanoid robot capable of intelligent human interaction. It was developed by Invento Robotics, a Bengaluru-based robotics company, and was launched at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ivanka Trump.
Mitra is made of fiberglass and is designed to greet customers by providing contextual assistance, autonomous navigation, face recognition, and speech recognition. It also has a touchscreen on its chest that can interact in places where speech is not possible. It can run for eight hours on a single charge. It can also understand a variety of languages. This robot can be found conversing with and greeting customers in the corridors of Canara Bank and PVR Cinemas in Bengaluru.
KEMPA
Sirena Technologies, a Bengaluru-based startup, developed the humanoid using AI. The advanced humanoid is entirely designed and built in Bengaluru.
KEMPA is set up to provide flight and check-in information, as well as other flight-related information. While the bot is still being refined in preparation for its official launch. It also recommends places to visit in the state and has casual conversations with passengers.
RADA – A Humanoid To Assist Customers At The Airport
RADA is a unique robot created by Vistara, a collaboration between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines. It was created to automate simple tasks and enhance the customer experience prior to boarding its flights. It can also help to promote Vistara’s products and services by sending out clear bot messages. RADA is operational at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3.
RADA, which is built on a four-wheeled chassis, can rotate 360 degrees and has three built-in cognitive cameras. Vistara created the robot in collaboration with efficient voice technology to provide a simple solution for emerging and future trends.
IRA – Robotic Assistant By HDFC Bank
IRA 2.0, introduced by HDFC Bank, is an interactive robotic assistant designed to improve the user experience for branch visitors. It can interact with them, answer bank-related questions, and frequently asked questions (FAQs), and guide them through the branch using voice navigation.
HDFC Bank created IRA in collaboration with Invento Makerspaces and Senseforth Technologies. It was India’s first bank to use a humanoid for customer service. The GPS-enabled indoor humanoid has a speech recognition module that can be trained to understand what customers say and moves around the branch using ultrasonic sensors, as well as a face detection algorithm for customer recognition.
INDRO – Tallest Robot
This is India’s tallest humanoid robot. INDRO is an autonomous robot designed by researcher Santosh Vasudeo Hulawale that was built inside a house using readily available low-cost materials such as aluminum, wood, cardboard, and plastic. According to one study, INDRO can be used for light tasks such as entertainment, education, and a few household chores. The autonomous humanoid robot is not completely self-contained and can be controlled both automatically and manually. It has 31 motors and can perform human-like actions. It can also lift objects weighing up to 2 kilograms with its hands.

India’s robotics industry is still small in comparison to those of South Korea, Japan, the United States, and China. Despite this, India has only three robots for every 10,000 employees.
