finally started Halo 4 and MY SHAYLA!!!
I’m so distraught over her I can’t stop thinking about how many times she must have considered waking Master Chief up. It couldn’t be a selfish moment, he’s too important, she had to save it for something practical and real, for a true need that couldn’t be ignored or repressed. And in all that time while she ponders, she knows she’s deteriorating, running out of time, trying to hold on for as long as she can.
Do you think if it had been any longer, she would have woken him up to say goodbye? Or spare him of that pain and leave him peacefully asleep, in hopes of a rescue one day, because she knows he would drop everything to try and save her? I’m so sad
