As for the smart watches themselves, here are my initial thoughts. I like that the LG G Watch R uses a standard watch strap, instead of a clasp that many of the other smart watches are touting. Unfortunately, it’s rather on the larger side. Sony’s SmartWatch 3 is comfortable to wear but it’s way too sporty to wear for a night out. Alcatel’s smart watch surprised us with a neat trick that no one else is doing – it has a built in USB connector for charging, so that you don’t have to worry about bringing along a charging cable. Meanwhile, I’m really digging the Asus ZenWatch’s design, as it feels the least techie-like of the lot, and resembles more of a classic watch.
