I love this crop hoodie because it's comfortable and looks good with a tank top layered under it. I loved this hoodie because it was a subtle piece of fan merch. Most official fan merch has the logo of whatever on it, ruining what cool design might be on it. This didn't have that, which is why it took me a while to get around to covering it.

First I thought about a medley of mimics from various franchises, but the research would take too long. Then slimes came to mind, which led to Dragon Quest slimes.

My one regret is not drawing the design on actual paper and transferring through tracing. I think I could recreate this design pretty faithfully tho.

Walked by a house this morning that had three different types of bird, a squirrel, and a rabbit in the yard.

Not sure what's bothering most about the new embroidery project; being burnt out because the illustration process too so long so I'm tired of looking at it already, or the sinus infection interfering with the enjoyment of the work because I lean forward while working and that messes with the pressure on my sinuses..

It's hard to start embroidering when you're already sick of the pattern. But what's the alternative, not doing it? As if.

I want to get back into FR, but every time they add species exclusive genes to other species I get sad.

I want ancient only genes. I want modern only genes. I want genes found only on a couple of ancient dragons. Going through the gene list while scrying is a huge pain. It's probably why my most recent scries have been Cirrus dragons.

Made a lamb for my mom. Around Mother's Day I realized I haven't made anything for my family in a while. So I asked my mom if she wanted a plush or something embroidered. She chose plush.

She really liked the reindeer I made for all the nibblings, so I made her something using the same pattern.

I've been listening to an audiobook whenever I'm cleaning or cooking and today I snorted so badly when the phrase 'jerked the faucet off' was used.

I really don't know how that got past editing. It's grammatically fine, but I think 'jerk off' is one of those phrases that has one meaning only. Sorry, but you just broke the tension in your horror novel for the next five minutes.

I picked up this Disney Villains Ursula when Big Lots was closing. The doll's pretty neat, bigger than most, but the dress was trash. Luckily, some extra Rainbow High accessories combine well enough until I can sew something suiting.

We went to the shore for Birthday Weekend, leaving the cats alone for several days. Normally this is fine. I leave out enough dry food and they eat it at a normal pace. This trip I was worried about Chantico because it was supposed to be pretty hot and she is starting to show her age.

She and Momo were fine tho. They had enough food and the house wasn't dangerously hot. Momo greeted us warmly. Chantico hid. Even when I found her, she didn't greet me. She went to another hiding spot. After a few minutes she realized who we were and came out. She's been by my side since. It was a little jarring, but I imagine it was scarier for her. It's the first time she has done something that's blatantly senile. She's twelve this year. I guess that's a part of pet ownership one has to deal with.
