Josh and Donna coming back to work after Gaza and trying to fall back into their old patterns except that for several heart-stopping hours Josh thought he was going to lose her, especially when she developed the same complication that killed his dad, and yet all the while he sat there drowning in his feelings and also had to contend with the fact that she was with another man—both of them needing to talk about it but the specifics and feelings of it being the one thing they can’t (that Josh can’t) talk about, and Donna especially waiting and waiting and waiting for something to change only to realize she can’t keep waiting and has to change everything herself—

No but the events right after Gaza when they get back—the way that parallels Buck and Eddie though? For both these couples, the way they didn't talk about one of them nearly dying even though it was brought up in so many different ways and is affecting them profoundly? All of this complicated by one of them being with someone else at the time.....thank you for bringing this up because in all ways but physical I'm curled up in a ball crying about this.
