That's right, I'm officially bringing back Quill Kipps Appreciation Weekend (hereafter referred to as QKAW) from September 19-22. The lovely @menina89 created the original weekend last year, and has given her blessing for me to continue it.

I've made a collection on ao3, which you can find here. It's open, but moderated just in case of any spam. Works will be approved quickly! All that matters is that you write some Kipps goodness for QKAW.

A prompt list will be rb'd on this post tomorrow or Friday, but it's purely optional whether or not you use one of the prompts. The fabulous @dangerously-human had the excellent idea that I should offer a prompt list for those who want to participate, but might not know where to start. I've already put her to work coming up with some. If you use one of her prompts, one year gets knocked off of her sentence in Prompt Prison xD

i feel like an often overlooked downside to 10-episode seasons and the death of the "monster of the week" format is that we get way less whump variety nowadays. used to be that there'd be dozens of opportunities for your fave to get punched or kidnapped or hypnotized or what have you. these days if it doesn't fit into the main plot, it just doesn't happen. this is a tragedy. we should be protesting.
