I don't feel like I can do anything or want to and this feeling has been here two or three days now. I read about BDSM because I was wondering why people like 50 Shades of Grey. Read the defense that it can be done safely with a prearranged agreement on limits and safe words, and some people feel their relationship grows stronger from the negotiation of trust and limits. Still, I'm not tempted. My conclusion is you can have honest communication with your partner without letting pain into your sex life. Unless you already have chronic pain, then I've heard before you can try to convince yourself your chronic pain is sexy but wouldn't it be better to have a partner massage it out or touch to share it than to pretend your partner inflicts it instead of a chronic health condition? Negotiated vanilla sex can be a kink. Intimacy is in your honesty with your partner, not what you let your partner do to you.

* Listened to a section of my iRiff and detangled two spots where jokes overlapped and marked where rewrites need to happen. * Lot of brainstorming but I still feel confused. Too many possibilities, so decision brain freeze. AGAIN.
Confused, unproductive day but productive for a Monday, the day when I am overjoyed if anything happens at all so I try to focus on automated editing or coverage work.

* Read a lot. Hated on myself but kept reading anyway.
Rebooted research project. Feel intimidated by whether I have the right to share information or not. There’s a relevant book to consult I think and I can cite that but it’s over a decade old. Nothing feels worth doing. It’s nice to know an actress with muscular dystrophy has a leading role on Broadway.

Happy Free Comic Book Day!Absolutely nothing important happened today.
* The comic store and used stuff stores did not want my old comics at all and said I have to bring more than 4 books if I want $0.10 a book. Somehow I bought $20 of new comics anyway along with the free ones. Not much good in the freebies this year but there were some good dollar comics I hadn’t tried yet.
* Watched The Kentucky Derby. No favorite, no super horse, sloppy tråck boredom.
* Tidied my comic box. All but 6 are worth keeping, I tried to toss 4 but no one wants Spawn issue 100 apparently. Some people on Ebay are asking and failing to get $30 for it and the used stores said it’s a $10 book but mine’s in terrible condition and they need to mark up the price so it’s not worth it to them. So apparently I’m not the only one who hates Spawn.
I also have an extra copy of Marvel 1602 Issue 5 in mint condition! Who wants it?

Too many ideas at once, brain freeze happened and I just wanted to play Star Wars mostly. I need another win. I need to get back to work. I am conflicted between seeking royalties and academic reputation and industry credits.
* Brainstormed one page.
* Finished starting show bibles.
* Wrote down numbers to contact about funding wheelchair.
Now what... finish coverage? Close out tabs? I want to sleep.
All of these things very brief except for Star Wars. It’s addicting. It needs triggers and a timer. It’s maybe a wakeup game if I’m up super early. I’m going to think about what was fun last time next time I play it and just play the fun part. Ship battles are really where it’s at right now. I have a little window with Admiral Ackbar in it commanding his support ships leading the X-wing in battle and you can get buffed hits by locking target on the tie fighters and it’s just all so perfect!
Rediscovered Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes. I missed that game so much! And I got my data back by logging in to Game Center again. So I get Lvl 70 Admiral Ackbår and Luminara Unduli and super augmented Boba Fett back! And the Admiral has his ship the Home One and I am going to max out the ship too. And I’m somewhere in the 2000s in Arena rankings, didn’t fall too far behind despite not playing for a year.
Free Comic Day tomorrow. The list doesn’t seem great this year but I still want something. Maybe trade in my old comics and buy one new one plus get the best free one. If I can get a ride. I don’t even know if I’ll be able to get to the store. It’s for fun, not health or work.

May the 4th be with you? Today I think the 4th for me was a script to read. The 4th or the farth were out in 4th with me today.
* Edited my Librivox recording but didn’t finish.
* Briefly touched a show bible I am starting.
* Wrote coverage of a play but didn’t finish.
Yesterday I got a lot done and today was unproductive sadness.
All is sadness and despair and I can’t drive because the car is broken and I’m probably not allowed to drive with my legs anymore and now Trumpcare passed and I don’t know if the income paying my student loans will still be there or not. I want to die. I don’t like pain so I don’t like any of the available options for dying. But I do not have much quality of life these days because I have no money and the future is wide open and full of gambles. I sometimes get paid to write coverage but the one today is on a voluntary basis to hopefully curry favor for later if my request is not too big.
If I script supervise on a shoot in Kentucky, paying me at least the IRS mileage rate should be worth the tax credit to shoot in Kentucky. There is an additional tax credit if I am given at least 120 hours of work so the employer can claim $750-6,000 the following year on taxes. The amount is higher if I am given 400 hours of work.
Tomorrow is another day!

* Spent four hours researching ways to soundproof a closet I haven’t cleaned out yet. Might should sell the stuff in the closet first to have a budget? Contents of closet may contain cat pee and I don’t want Shadow to get bad ideas.
* Wrote on short film collaboration about three hours? Didn’t feel that long but some of it was eating lunch, some brainstorming into bullet points, some figuring out where I left off. * Read scripts for coverage. About 1.5 hours.

* Wrote for an hour. New project though. Should go back to an old one. Need to clean up windows again. * Submitted my recording test to Librivox. Feedback says I am competent to record with them! I guess I am just a perfectionist. * Continued on assigned reading and systematized it a bit while cleaning up some windows.

* Recorded a 1 minute test for Librivox. It maybe took five hours to feel like I could record and to get a one minute file with volume level near 89 db. I am still unsatisfied that it is a 90 db file, it is not exactly 89 db, and I can’t get volume that high straight from the mic without amplifying, Normalizing, EQing. At least there were no lawn mowers audible.
* It maybe took an hour and a half to change out a quarter of the fish’s water by making eight trips between the fish tank and the bathroom and resting between old and new water. Not sure how much of that was resting.
* Revisited some assigned reading. I would like to read faster and have better comprehension but the subject really isn’t my sort of thing so it’s an uphill battle.

* Planned the podcast.
* Mailed minutes from the last writer meeting to folks who need to see them to plan the next one.
* Tried wiki web app as a test for a project.
* Went over some books on Vikings and Norse mythology. * Helped someone with a script import problem. Podcast is supposed to be timeboxed into just two hours a day but I want to launch already and we’re having recording issues. Issues that could easily be solved with money I don’t have. At most, the episode I researched is three or four months after the film we will discuss was in the theater. Priorities are out of whack. Everything that HAS to happen this month is more important.
