I'm thinking about doing Snapstuck more mspfa style and jumping in to the real meat of the story and less of the lore 🤔

I will still go back and make tidbits about how things got to where they are but I have all these lovely ship babies I designed collecting dust on my mental shelf and I want to show them 😤

Feferi had little interest in the politics of Alternia, let alone the cruelty that becoming an Empress entailed. On one of the rare occasions that she managed to get away from her lusus, she overheard a conversation about a ship taking trolls to a new planet called Earth. A place where hierarchy didn’t matter.

Feferi made immediate plans to cut ties to her life and responsibilities on Alternia. She knew with her lusus’ hunger, she’d be unable take it along. And she was already looking for an excuse to end her moirallegiance with Eridan Ampora. What better reason than saying goodbye to all she knew?

Upon arriving on Earth, Feferi was greeted by several trolls who recognized her as a highblood. Though she wished to renounce her status, the other trolls thought her knowledge of Alternian society along with her convictions to make their race less violent would make her a strong leadership figure.

The Alternian council was founded with Feferi at it’s head alongside other trolls (stick around and find out ;) ) Her main duties include helping her race intermingle with humans and other new species in the most harmonious way possible. She’s also begun to take an interest in a medical profession.

Eridan was one of the last to leave Alternia. While Eridan had no desire in particular to oppress trolls below him in the hemospectrum, he did appreciate his status as a highblood in society and the perks that came with it. Eridan had always found difficulty connecting with others and due to this he had hoped to use his status to quell his loneliness, which to his disappointment did not come to fruition.

Feferi upon hearing about the opportunity to move to a new planet chose to end her moirallegiance with Eridan, stating that he seemed to want more than he was willing to give and requested he leave her alone.

Eridan also tried to connect with the other trolls such as Karkat and Kanaya, who at least acted as a stern older sister toward him, before noticing that the population was becoming sparse. With fee being left on Alternia such as Vriska and Terezi, Eridan felt his chances of companionship were better on Earth and fled.

Now however, he is overjoyed that Vriska has arrived as he's now on a mission to get in her good graces by helping her find what she's looking for.

Okay, Eridan's gauntlet of rejection is done lol I'm gonna do a few backstory posts and then I'm gonna try something new. At first I wanted to keep everything in snapchat format but it's starting to hinder how I tell the story a bit. From now on I am going to format the AU to be a bit more like mspfa (because it's eventually going to end up there) and feature snapchats in place of pesterlogs :]

Hi! Just stumbled across your blog and am scrolling thru the backlog, wNted to kno- are you considering vriska a “villian” for this au, or is she a “morally grey character who has a lot of bridges to rebuild”? Just curious if i should expect to see her in a positive light or just as a problem for the main group

I'm so glad you asked. I actually wanted to give her kind of a redemption arc. Like right now her motives aren't great but there are people who are gonna help her work it out. You could consider her an antagonist at this point but I have a happy ending in mind for her. :>

Kanaya and Karkat Lore~

Kanaya and Karkat were the first trolls to leave Alternia. It was Karkat who received contact from John Egbert completely on accident. At first he was mistrusting of the human race believing them to be enemies, however after extensive back and forth conversation and swearing, Karkat determined that his chances of surviving on Earth were at least slightly better than being culled for his blood mutation on Alternia.

Kanaya was shocked to hear that another planet was contacting Alternia, but not that Karkat wanted to leave. Aware of his blood mutation and out of desire to protect him, she decided to flee Alternia with him, however this wasn't her only motive.

With the Mother Grub being her lusus, Kanaya knew abandoning her duty may result in serious consequences to the troll species. She sought council with the Mother Grub, who told her this may be a new beginning for the trolls. Soon after their meeting the Mother Grub perished and Kanaya took the matriorb and smuggled it on the ship to Earth. If this planet had the technology to contact, locate, and transport other species, then maybe it had the ability to facilitate the mother of all trolls and begin a generation of trolls who were less inclined to the brutality of Alternia.

SHERIFF CHUNGUS... I mean... AIMLESS RENEGADE LORE

AR has a passion for the law and justice and always has a desire to put others before himself. On Derse he was the Authority Regulator for the Black Queen, issuing citations and upholding the law. 

When Earth made contact with Skaia, AR bore witness to a Prospitan and a Dersite coming together to round up the first group of refugees to leave their homes and establish themselves on Earth. It was then he had an epiphany of what justice it was he was upholding. Was it worth it if the people he was supposed to be protecting weren’t happy? The Black Queen discovered him packing up his things to leave on the next ship and injured his eye (She has a thing for eyes in this AU Idk), but he managed to escape with only that. Upon establishing himself on Earth he set out immediately to learn the laws and justice system feeling much more confident in upholding the law in a society where the citizens were happy and mingling despite species or planetary origins. He now works as a Sheriff spending hsi free time drinking with HB, and taking Dave Strider and Terezi Pyrope under his wing.

SPADES SLICK LORE

Spades Slick was a regent of the Black Queen back on Derse. He was very dissatisfied with her reign however and along with HB, CD, and DD, they plotted to overthrow the monarchy.

BQ catching wind of this confronted Slick and took his eye. He resigned from his position under her authority and decided to flee. Fortunately WV and PM had just recently established a connection with Earth to both Prospit and Derse and so Slick was able to escape.

Unfortunately Slick, who was unsure of a guaranteed escape decided to smuggle himself onto the ship transporting refugees to Earth and sustained major injuries. He was taken into medical care and his new robotic parts were designed and built by Dirk Strider.

He was introduced to Karkat Vantas through Sollux Captor and CD. Though they shout at each other almost exclusively, Karkat appears to be the only person outside of his crew that he trusts, perhaps due to their similar untrusting nature and mistreatment by their respective societies.

Still unsure of the established governing system, Slick runs a scam operation out of English's club assisted by the rest of his crew (when they don't invite the Sheriff to tag along)

Vriska Serket lore!

Vriska is the newest arrival to Earth, eventually realizing there wasn’t much hope left for life on Alternia.  She was well known and infamous among her social group only being regarded fondly by few such as Eridan Ampora.  She slowly but surely began to burn bridges with her FLARP group. She strong armed her way into a matespritship with Tavros Nitram and ended it when he didn’t appear to reciprocate the feelings with the hope that he would chase her. Instead he recoiled away from her in the process causing his moirail Aradia Megido to turn her back on Vriska as well. Kanaya Maryam who’d at one time had flushed feelings for her eventually realized her problematic behavior wasn’t going to desist anytime soon and turned her back to leave for Earth. The final straw came when her moirail Terezi Pyrope had had Enough. Seeing every one of her friends turn their back on Vriska and choosing not to be associated, Terezi too turned her back and left for Earth. now seeking redemption, albeit somewhat aggressively, Vriska has arrived on Earth to seek out Tavros.
