i hate driving. here are the laws! if you break them there will be consequences! except youre also expected to break the law just a little bit. people will get mad at you if you dont. you dont have right of way but the person who does is waving you forward for some reason. here's the speed limit! it's not the speed limit, the actual speed limit is that plus ~5-10. the light is green but you're in the turning lane. can you go? should you have gone just then? the person behind you is honking at you. there's a weird noise coming from your engine; if you try to do the right thing and get it checked out, will you get scammed? you are driving a 1-2 ton metal machine rocketing at speeds unknown to humankind for most of history. around a million people die in car accidents every year; that's about one person every thirty seconds. if you take that seriously and try to drive safely then people get mad at you.

I was just informed that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is currently planning to rescind their definition "harm" that is currently part of the endangered species act. You can find out more about this and the impact that it will have here: https://savetheesa.org/federal-register

This rule change will make destroying endangered species habitat no longer illegal under ESA regulations. As you can imagine, that will be catastrophic for countless species and their habitats, including many of our local herp species. The government is accepting public comments on this move until May 19th. If you love our wildlife and our wild places, I highly recommend submitting a comment urging US Fish and Wildlife to oppose the rescinding of this measure. the quotation marks are there for a reason! this is actually the urchin's asshole.

Now some may also be wondering why some of the urchin characters we see in Splatoon have bright orange skin. this is based on the color of the only edible part of a sea urchin!

The tanuki statue in Inkopolis plaza has visible testicles in its concept art! you know. as tanuki statues do.

unfortunately it appears to have been castrated for the final game... but appearances are not what they seem.... if you can clip through the building. zoom in closer.

there is in fact, a nutsack clipping through the roof of the building containing the squid sisters studio.
