Tess Ruunaser (Adoptive Sister of Erin): Submitted by @songstep4002. Tess and Erin act as adoptive sisters having grown up together. She was enslaved as a child and bought by Erin's father to be a play mate for Erin. Despite this when she was able to leave Erin said goodbye to Erin.

Martha Jones (Younger Sister of Tish and Older Sister of Leo): Submitted by @capybaraonabicycle. She was proud of Tish and did her best to make sure her sister was far away from the danger that Tish's boss brought. Despite the danger to herself Martha made sure to warn her siblings of the danger they were in allowing her younger brother to escape the Master.

Okay, so a month of fixing my 3d printer later, I am finally ready to pay Hero Forge 20 bucks to let me have the file for this beauty, so that I can bring it into phyiscal existense and paint it oh so pretty (eventually) Because of that last part, all the colours are merely illustrations of intent, but especially ignore the poncho - the colours on the site just bugged out on it for some bizzare reason and I couldn't be bothered to fix it since it won't matter in the end Credit to @narnianvalkyrieofberk for providing the inspiration and proof of concept, as well as generously sharing the actual file to give me a much easier jumping off point. (I was originally just going to do a couple minor adjustments for printability but then got carried away with the detail work)

Life's Vessel

And it's finally done! This composition has lived in my head and across three sketchbooks with @comicaurora's Alinua before I finally got her down onto paper and I'm so happy with how the final product turned out!

been thinking about @the-mountain-flower's swap au since its was posted, so here's an elemental magus!alinua

i like magus!alinua as someone who wants to help people out directly, but by her magus status is pushed into research a lot, so she does a lot of medical research - maybe she's studying elemental corruption in the hopes of reversing it, and that's what leads her to the storm. she's probably still something of an instinctual mage in her "bone wants to grow more bone" way, which might be why she's sealed

the funny thing is this part of the conversation was barely my idea, Tess kinda wrestled the keyboard away to volunteer her thoughts on the concept of "home" and it naturally ended up much gayer than most of my scripts

This time I decided to style Tess and Alinua after Perseus and Andromeda by Titian

Behind the Scenes details about making this below the read more :3

I named the sea monster Kremlin the Gremlin and he alone took almost half of the time it took me to make this. I started with his mouth because the gaping maw was the most striking part to me of the monster in Titian's painting so I figured starting there would make sure it stayed a key feature in my brain and would help with composition. Also his body is made of the same piece I used for the rock Alinua is chained to.

Posing Tess was a struggle. I was trying to find the balance between a pose that made sense for her and still invoking the vibe of the original artwork.

The rock Alinua's chained to has 3 different colors on it to try and evoke a feeling of lighting from Tess's lightning without having to use a bunch of lighting effects that would give a different vibe than the art I based this piece on.

Alinua wasn't originally going to be covered, but then I noticed the fabric across Andromeda in the original art and decided vines that are still partially glowing with life magic might be a nice touch

I was originally looking for art to base a Tam and Erin fight piece off of but ended up finding Titian's painting and being inspired to do another Tesslinua piece instead and I'm so happy with how it turned out :3
