Bella was like BAIT for vampires it seemed. Why the hell did she always find herself in these situations. She'd stayed human, gone off to college and now here she was facing another vampire who was trying his best not to eat her.

"Hey...hey...look. I've been here before. Trust me." She lifted up her sleeve, showing her scar from James. "But I don't think you're like him. You say you don't wanna hurt me and I believe you. I probably shouldn't but I do." Bella nodded.

"Have you tried animals. I know it's not the same, but I've heard it works. Like deer."

a slow and steady breath falls from everette's lips, calming himself and trying to ignore his hunger. his thoughts. instead eyes, red with hunger open, look down to her, stiff expresses as he controls himself. " you do.. " he agrees but holds his place still, scared to move even an inch, scared his body will give in to his urges. " and i'm hungry. " she knows what he is, if she's smart she should also know she needed to get far away from him right now. " I don't want to hurt you. " Everette's words are stern, reminding himself that this wasn't who he was. he wouldn't make that mistake again, if he could help it.
