The ending to dead poets society its just a nightmare that Todd had afterwards he realized how much he would miss Neil if he actually died and realizes his inlove or whatever then they get together, graduate, neil gets a successful acting career while todd is a famous poet, they move to a cottage get married when it becomes legal (since its set in the 50s), adopt some cats maybe a child but thats a stretch, and live happily ever after and it ends with a clique line like “and thats how i met your father!” Neil says to the cats

we definitely don’t talk about this moment enough

the look todd gives mr keating after neil fathers takes him away. todd just wanted to speak to neil and tell him how good he was, and he was dragged away. and you can’t tell me that todd didn’t think there was something wrong because he looks so concerned
and imagine what would’ve happened if neil’s father didn’t turn up…sigh

“i want a life full of soft colours, i want to bathe in roses and drink tea mid-afternoon; i want to watch the sunlight illuminate my room through the blinds, i want to be the sun, i want a library the size of the moon and to feel true reciprocated love—i want to love myself. i want red ribbons in my hair and long walks as the sunsets, i want to set a man’s heart on fire, i want to be fire itself. i want the pretty little things that make life fun.”
— P. A. Bitez From the book ‘Soft Tortures’ (via cherryfoxs)

I feel so intensely the delights of shutting oneself up in a little world of one’s own, with pictures and music and everything beautiful.

ISTG THEY WERE DANCING SO GRACEFULLY IT WAS MAGICAL
Okay TV weddings are cute and all but name a more iconic wedding scene than Will and Elizabeth Turner’s cause they were literally married by the man who kidnapped the bride and killed the groom’s dad, WHILE killing sea creature-people things and while reciting their vows to each other and their witnesses along with the psychopathic officiant were two other previously undead freaks who tried to kill her the first time they met her and a fucking immortal monkey.
And don’t even get me started on the way he spun her like they were dancing. That. Was. Everything.
You can’t get weddings like those on sitcoms.
