People had thought this was some joke of a relationship but here he was, waiting by the door for his entrance, Phil by his side to walk him down the aisle.

And who was he kidding? Good things didn’t happen to Fundy.

It was a matter of time before he was the punchline.

As the doors opened and he walked to where Dream stood, he glanced at the enthusiastic guests (or rather, the expectant audience) who were waiting with him for the disaster to come.

As Tubbo made his opening remarks as the officiant, he and Dream went through the motions. Facing his husband-to-be, his smile matched Dream’s and never managed to be a “happy” one. Polite, fake.

Phil proudly stood and gave his blessing.

The doors slammed open. People gasped (why did they gasp?) as George stood by the door, in a dashing tux, out of breath.

Fundy finally let his ears droop and his smile fall in a morbid relief as his face settled to a hollow resignation.He took a glance at Dream for confirmation that not once could he make him as smile as hard George did.

Congratulations to the happy couple. Fundy has this lovely wedding venue he can recommend.

As George caught his breath he looked at where the men stood. A pregnant silence took the guests’ chatterings’ place as he straightened up and shouted:

“Fundy! Marry me instead!”

Grooms’ faces contorted to confusion as they and everyone asked “WHAT?!” in a collective shock.
