When someone irl brings up "people faking DID back in 2020" and I have to resist the urge to explain that assuming people are faking has in fact done more harm to people with DID as a whole because now people assume it's a generally fake disorder because if I'm too defensive they're gonna ask why I care so much. I also think it’s neat how the new Superman movie threw in characters like Guy Gardner Green Lantern or Metamorpho with only the most minimal explanation of what their deal is. Feels like a rebuttal to all the complaining about “having to do homework” for MCU movies.

I'm still thinking about how perfect Nathan Fillion's Guy Gardner was. Like...yes! He and James Gunn get it! Guy Gardner is rude and belligerent and crass but also he's got this rough compassion that shines through his actions sometimes and you have to deal with the fact that sometimes the person doing the right thing isn't gonna be someone you like.
