The ARCH-HIVE's sixth art show, "THE SOURCE: Psychogeography of the Great Basin", is on view throughout this June! This show explores the psychogeography of the Great Basin Desert. Psychogeography is how our physical environment affects our mental environment.

We have 11 incredible artists who will be exploring what it does to us to live in a strange and magic desert—a land characterized by absence—a land of sagebrush, salt, and stars.

The deadline for submissions is May 10th, so I'll probably sit on it for a while for editing purposes. Somebody make sure I don't forget to submit it before then.

Doodle during Sacrament

The Broken Chunk of Bread off the Loaf is paired with a wrapped up Jesus (he is poorly wrapped, because that's why the Women returned to the Tomb on Sunday Morning. It was hastily done so they wouldn't violate Shabbat). This is the Body of Christ

The Drop of Wine is paired with Christ in Gethsemane. Modern Revelation (D&C 19) tells us that Christ suffered for our Sins in Gethsemane. This is the Blood that was Shed for Us, the Pain that "caused [him], even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit" (D&C 19:18)

Ignore the different colours. I was drawing with my 3 year old sister during the Sacrament (so I could set a good example), and she kept wanting to change the Colour

And, yep, S&D are strutting around the ring, taunting the crowd. Just bad sportsman in my opin-Wait...do you hear..what is that? Is that theme music? Who's song is that? Wait.. is that? It couldn't be! It is! JESUS CHRIST! IT'S THE SON OF GOD! WE ALL THOUGHT HE WAS TAKEN OUT BY PONTIUS P. PILOT THANKS TO THAT SURPRISE BETRAYAL BY JUDAS, BUT HE'S BACK! HE'S ON THE TOP ROPE! AND HE! General Conference Doodles 4/5/2025, Saturday morning session

I already made the Tokyo Temple into a giant robot, and there are only four (LDS) temples in Japan, so I figured I might as well get cracking on the other 3. Here’s the Fukuoka Japan Temple with a giant sword.

I think this is a good reminder that at the end of the day, the reason that the church matters, the reason we gather in congregations, is to love each other and spread love. It's so easy to get caught up in slogans and whatnot and forget that in order for us to be saved, we have to help to save each other, to lift each other up in love. We should not hold the faults of our church as an excuse to not try to save it with our love and goodness.

This is exactly the talk I needed I think. Very good.
