Important things that my closest friends have told me in the past.. some of them not as transparent as they are now.

You need to watch more carefully who you invest in.  -J

And if there's anything to learn from all this, it's this.  I can never have any expectations.  Because once I do, I'm bound to be disappointed.

I can count with my hands the very rare few who have never disappointed me.  Ever.

Macklemore was right.  Sometimes, the people you want the most are the people you're best without.
